The V/O in Z:TM is occasionally condescending towards its audience, which quickly implies a level of delusion. A delusion which exposes itself entirely when Joseph incredibly warns us of the U.S. governments imminent plan of micro-chipping the masses (and a date which has since passed). At that point the film went from lop sided speculation to madness. This is not a moderate film and never claims to be, but it does claim to be truth. For me, there are far to many loose ends to earn Z:TM that tag

The poor man's Michael Moore, but in terms of entertainment there ain't nothing particularly wrong with that. Whether you buy into it's conspiracy theories, or you spend yourself gaping at what the hell some people come up with, you're probably not going to be bored to death, though personally I wouldn't go living my life according to its gospel.

Maybe it's not everything correct in this and way too long, but assume that it's really provoking. And in a good way, it's not just a documentary that make you feel bad, but, most importantly, it's give you a solution. A try of changing.

I never would have learned about the totalitarian Annunaki conspiracy if not for Zeitgeist, so I guess it wasn't a total waste of time.

Yeah sure, the government created the media to distract us from their policies, all politicians and rich people are assholes, religion is all about astrology... DURRRRR Ironic how they basically set out to destroy the governments so called "propaganda" and "lies" when the movie itself can quite easily be defined in the same way.

Shouldn't watch this if you're really paranoid. The first part (religion) is actually very interesting and informative. Part 2 and 3 are all about conspiracies. Basically, it's about not believing everything you're told, which is a good thing - and also applies to the movie itself. (In this context the idea of "one world" actually gives me the creeps)

Good in terms of thinking outside the box and effective in manipulating and ignoring certain sides of an argument in order to 'prove' conspiracy theories...but absolutely horrid in going way over the top and way beyond what the problems in reality really are.

This is clever propaganda that preys upon weak-minded, uneducated individuals. I'd rate it about a 3/10 on the technical aspects of the documentary and a -3/10 on content, balancing it out to a cool 0/10.

I love conspiracy theories, and so I loved this movie. I mean, you can't take this shit seriously, but it is a lot of fun to watch all the speculation and reasoning behind it, and that's pretty well done in this film.

This movie is good for seeing manipulation techniques in action, it's also good for raising a few issues and making you think about certain things. But it definitely shouldn't be accepted as the truth; anyone who accepts the things presented in this movie without question is just as bad as the others who let themselves be slaves to various doctrines.
