Corpses without ribcages??? Guess they didn't know much about anatomy way back in 1980... Slightly more unique than the plethora of jungle-zombie flicks (and happily no animal mutilation this time around), but still really bad.

Holocaust is a very good cannibal / zombie splatter event from the late 70´s that counts in my opinion to the best horror movies made in that period. Much better than a lot of other flicks that appears in the shadow of great splatter productions in the early 80´s.

Immediately ignore the title - there are barely any zombies and its more of a cannibal film. It has its moments in terms of humorous aspects, but unless I develop a fondness for its inept nature, it's not going to trouble some of the better examples of Italian genre cinema from directors like Lucio Fulci etc.

Pretty much a remake of Zombi but with cannibals added (ie it's better). Donald O'Brien is hilarious as the evil doctor, and this flick features one of the best zombie kills ever: via outboard motor.

A gory but overall mediocre mashup of Fulci's "Zombi" and "Cannibal Holocaust". Great third act, terrible ending.
