This movie was better than I expected. Renée Zellweger actually looks *good* in this movie. It's funny at times and very warm during others. The last 15 minutes or so are a bit cliche'd and Rory Cochrane plays his typical extremely predictable, introverted self. Worth watching once and stopping on it when you're flipping channels.

One of my favorite films of all-time.. a truly enjoyable portrait of the slacker counter-culture of the mid-90s.

Somehow I passed this movie over. I don't know how. It's Breakfast Club meets High Fidelity meets American Pie. It has thought, good laughs and music. Don't make the same mistake I did and pass this thing up.

There is absolutely nothing noteworthy about this movie. It simply fails to entertain on any level.

This movie is famous, and for good reason. I don't know how many times I've quoted this and had someone surprised by how witty I could be. I'm not witty, however I am honest, and I always recommend this movie.

Enjoyed the ridiculous Rex Manning video and a few lines here and there. However, most of the rest just dwells in cliches, the film takes shortcuts to elicit emotion, and more often than not, the comedy comes off as odd rather than funny. I probably would have enjoyed this in high school, but not so much all these years later.

Nothing really too surprising, here, but it's an oddly interesting kind of "slacker-fantasy" film (as in, dudes like me spent time dreaming of being able to work in a cool place like that). The "We need to raise this much or they're going to bulldoze the youth centre!" story is pretty worn out, though.

A series of noisy vignettes that add up to nothing, despite attractive young cast. Disappointing outing from Moyle, who directed the more potent _Pump Up the Volume_.
