Re: X-Men Days of Future Past *spoilers*
if it had appeared at the end to solve a seemingly intractable problem, it would have been a deus ex machina. Unless I'm misremembering my Latin. That's right. Also, I think the coolest thing about the way they did this was that we were able to see our favorite actors from the franchise all in the ...

Re: X-Men Days of Future Past *spoilers*
I don't ever recall that power either. However, I wouldn't call it a "convenient plot device." It's the entire conceit of the movie. It would have been a "convenient plot device" if it had appeared at the end of the movie to resolve a seemingly intractable problem. Of course powe...

Re: What do cinemas do with all the movie posters?
Friends that used to work in theaters got lots and lots of old posters. I can't say what the normal practice is, but certainly a decent percentage are given to employees. Maybe sold to second hand stores or something for the remainder. Sadly, I imagine lots and lots are just pitched.

There were other posts earlier in the thread I liked, too, but it's just too much to respond to, so I'll focus on parts of t...

Having never seen that movie, I can tell from that screenshot that I'm going to love it. I just added it to my queue.
