Nope. I hate comic book superhero films, and generally avoid them like the plague; the last I saw was "The Dark Knight" in 2012. Still, you're telling me a big CGI, brainless superhero mess most strongly targeted towards the 8-14 year old demographic is some incredible, awesome masterpiece? Call me skeptical.

I'm really sick and tired of all these frickin' nerdy superhero movies, so out of principle I'm not planning to see The Avengers. Until just a few years ago, summer fare seemed much more diverse, offering something for just about anyone.

First half was a bit slow, but the last hour was awesome. Mostly due to the fact that the first half is more talking and the second half is more fighting. Im a very sophisticated viewer you see.
