Guess the movie from the image

2 movies come to my mind. Seen Point Break many times, never seen Dog Day Afternoon, but that car, the outfits, and the font look old, so I'm gonna go with the DDA.

Dog Day Afternoon is correct! Just seen it for the first time recently and thought it was great considering it's age, the fact it was set on true events (and it seems to have stuck to them fairly closely for the most part). It's worth a watch if you find yourself having an opportunity to view it.

Thanks for the extra detail about the movie. I haven't seen it but I guess I must be a fan of Robert Shaw as I recalled reading about one of his last films involving a plot to blow up the Superbowl. I really like that first image, so along with your summary I now intend to seek out and watch it.

It definitely needs to be seen more. It's a bit long, but I think it's a worthwhile blockbuster. I don't know how much you've seen of Frankenheimer's films, but please do yourself a favor and DO NOT watch Prophecy first. If you do, you will think I'm crazy for giving him praise.
