General Discussion : Which studios and production companies do you like/avoid?

I'll watch just about anything produced by Shaw Brothers during their heyday (I think they're still around, only doing TV production exclusively these days). I'm also a big fan of Golan/Globus and Action International Pictures, both producers of low budget genre films in the early and late 80s, respectively.

Up! is the only Pixar movie I've seen that didn't completely bore me.

But generally speaking, I'm not usually aware of who produced a given movie until I'm already watching it.

Yeah, if we're talking Asian production companies, I like Shaw Brothers, Golden Harvest, and Media Asia Group. I have also loved a lot of stuff by Toho, but they're a large company that has produced everything from Kurosawa films from back in the day to Godzilla to Miike to modern shounen anime.
