I'm with Tonydal, Sandler built his career on low-IQ humor and Idiotic characters. To rank any as "good" is something that I might have done when I was twelve, but have long since grown out of.

I wouldn't call any of his comedies good but Punch Drunk Love and Funny People I absolutely consider good

Yeah, I thought it had already been generally accepted in the film community that Punch Drunk Love was Adam Sandler's only good film.

It's no coincidence that Sandler's best movie, Punch Drunk Love, is the one he had the least amount of creative control over. Same principle goes for George Lucas as well.

punch drunk love is anderson's worst film by far, and the fault lies in significant part with sandler.

I know I'm pissing in to the wind on this, but Happy Gilmore is a solid comedy. I love good, smart comedy as much as the next guy, but sometimes dumb funny is still funny.
