Problem with the Year Filter

I think there is a problem with the Year filter in the database/Full Rankings List, concerning the years 2015 and 2016.

When I filter the year from 2015 to 2015 (to be able to see which films I have ranked from this year), it shows films from both 2015 and 2016. Like this:



And when I filter the year from 2016 to 2016, it doesn't show anything; the filter doesn't work when it comes to 2016.

Could you take a look at this, please?

The year filter is based on the release date of the movie, not the dated when you ranked it.

But I noticed a separate bug. I can't use the filters when I am viewing your rankings and try to put a year filter on it. It just skips this filter.

Thanks for reporting this guys -- td888 is right, that the filter is for release date, not date ranked. But we'll take a look into the second issue mentioned.

I ranked movies that is released in 2016 (like Dirty Grandpa, İftarlık Gazoz, Anesthesia, etc.) and I want to see them in one place, but the filter doesn't work. As I said in the post.

It is an important feature for me because I use it to see which movies I ranked that is RELEASED in this or that year, like 2016, 2015, 2014 vs.

Apologies to Giskard, for misreading his original post... it was indeed an error, and I think we've now fixed it up.

Of course, now I can't reproduce the issue td888 mentioned... if I understand correctly, the year filter isn't working when you view "All Your Rankings"? Could you post a permalink to the filter which is failing? That would help us a lot I have my fingers crossed that it was related to the bug we just fixed.
