Help me name that movie : Some real shitty movie

I'm looking for this film I saw on TV years ago. I believe it was from the 80's, though I can't be sure.
In this film, the protagonist had a roomate who was obssesed with Elvis. he had all kind of Elvis novelty items in his house (which I even believed he called 'Graceland', though I might be making this shit up), had a similar hairdo and in a scene in a coffee shop he told the protagonist he was actually a reencarnation of Elvis. When the protagonist told him that he was born before Elvis died, the Elvis dude made some excuse and said you don't have to die to reencarnate.

There was also a chick involved, maybe with both guys, maybe with just one of them.

No, it's definitely not it. The film I saw, I believe, was far more down to earth, only one character was completely insane.

Also, I've seen this film between 2001 and 2003, on a really shitty channel in a really shitty hour, so it's definitely not that film, that was new at the time. I haven't even seen it completely, I'm just wondering what the hell was it truly about.
