The above lines of dialogue is so fucking stupid and ridiculous it's quite funny. I guess I will have to suck it up and watch this movie against my better judgement.

OP - how long did it take you with rewinding to remember all that!

I laughed consistently throughout and laughed really hard in a few spots. I do like the majority of Ferrell comedies and if this thread has taught me anything I guess that means my sense of humor is terrible. Hopefully, I'll find a way to live the rest of my life knowing that I am so inferior to the people who really know a good comedic enterprise.

Was this movie supposed to take place on planet Earth ? Everything was so excessively moronic: overdone dry humor (which I usually enjoy), poorly written stupid characters.

This movie was a abomination and new low in the "buddy cop" genre, one which usually makes for a good time at the movies (Lethal Weapon, Men In Black, District B13, Hot Fuzz, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and many more...)

Don't worry, you can commiserate with all the people who think Adam Sandler and Jon Heder are funny, too. ;)

I watched it against my better judgement, but I have a bad cold and can't leave the house so....

Anyways, it was funny in some parts and slow in others. I would have given it a higher rating if not for the irritating eye squinting Will Farrell seems to have started using when delivering his lines which are supposed to be funny. Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson were quite good which got the movie off to a good start.

I still think Will was at his best in Blades of Glory or some of his Funny or Die clips. But I was entertained while being hopped up on cold medicine.

And anyone who uses "LOL" to describe a film is not exactly an expert on humor.

Really..? You just come across like a old timer in a rocking chair complaining that "all the Young'uns these days are usin' words and phrases I don't like". I hope you don't actually think that the use of an acronym actually decreases the worth of someone's opinion. Although, I guess it became readily apparent long ago that you labor under the assumption that your opinion is somehow objective.

As far as Ferrell is concerned it just depends on the movie I guess. None of his films rate in the upper echelons of my liked films, but that doesn't mean they aren't funny. He is pretty brilliant at improv I have to give him that. I think my favorite part of this movie were the short scenes regarding "Dirty Mike and the Boys" ("We will have sex in your car!" or something to that extent I forget the actual quote and am too lazy to even Google it).

It was pretty damn weird but there were some decently funny parts. Jackson and Johnson
dramatically jumping off that building and then splatting on the sidewalk
was probably the most memorable part, just for aforementioned weirdness.

I am not a big fan of this kind of movies. I put on the DVD thinking I will end up switching it off in half hour, but found it to be funny at a lot of places. Ended up ranking it Tier 6.
I have no idea who or what is TLC though.

Both Zoolander & Anchorman were Tier 2 for me.
