No, she dies, but the other little boy survives and ends up getting adopted by the girl's father.

Good thread. I mean kids SUCK today.
The Brood
-
even though it's the baddies
but a 100 film from me
The Original
Assault On Precinct 13
- probably the first one that came to mind. "I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!"
Rambo
2008 - SUCH an underrated film.
Men Behind The Sun

Eden Lake
- though a bit too old but one dies a really nice death

And I can't believe no one mentioned
The Virgin Spring
Also the opening scene in
The Bride Of Frank
really traumatized some friends of mine at after parties.

Holy crap I just watched
Who can Kill A Child?
It was pretty awesome.
The part where Tom is facing down the massed gang of children with the machine gun was fucking electric. That scene was so tense, it was practically a relief when he finally opened fire on them.
Twisted.
And when he's on the boat at the end and just starts unloading on those kids with an oar, really swinging for the fences, I was stunned. And elated.
Borderline classic. ;)

Wow. Another one for the list:
Woo Sue aka Run and Kill
It's a Hong Kong Cat III flick that features a scene where
Kent Cheng is tied to a chair and forced to watch as his 6 year old daughter is tied to another chair, doused in gasoline and burned alive, all on screen. It's pretty strong stuff. Then it just goes over the top by having the killer actually taunting Cheng by using her burnt, shriveled corpse as a puppet.
