Adding a "dislike" for mini-reviews would create needless competition and probably antagonism between some users, and I'd much prefer Criticker to remain a positive and affirming site. "Dislikes" would simply lead to bickering and issues, and also end up creating moderation problems for the site admins.
This is wonderfully put by OkkCoCa; I couldn't agree more.
Also, if you introduced "dislikes", a lot of mini-reviews would get bad scores simply because they go against the critical consensus for a picture. Someone could write an interesting and well-reasoned mini-review for why they disliked "Citizen Kane", but if you introduce dislikes, it would likely garner a worse rating than some information-less positive review like "Greatest movie ever".
By only having a "like" for movies, you're not punishing dissenting reviews nearly as much. For instance, my review of Tarantino's "Death Proof" is very negative and gives it a T1 rating, but it's also the most popular one for the picture.

So is the first one, if you have a sense of humor and aren't trying to be offended.
