Uh oh, I was preping myself for let down there. I'm not all fan of the previous ones, particularly 2 or 3, but I was hoping for a shot-in-the-arm from a new cast, particularly my sweetie, Emma Stone, even if she did revert to a natural blond (only her hairdresser knows for sure). We'll see.
Also I'm having my doubts about
Dark Knight Rises (Nolan blasphemy, Bane???). On the bright side,
Outcast looks good this weekend (Stone notwithstanding) and there's still a glimmer for
The Bourne Legacy and
Total Recall in the action blockbuster category anyway.
Two indies helped boost the end of the 6 months for me,
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World and
Your Sister’s Sister. The latter is a dialogue film (which I like a lot, but a lot of people don't) and a non-guy-as-incidental semi-chick flick. Just sayin'. Indies are now 5 of my top 7 so far.
