Filmmakers : Actors You Hate

I easily hate Nicolas Cage more than any other actor on the planet.
That being said, I did like Raising Arizona.
But he made up for it by being in the worst movie ever made (besides Starship Troopers), National Treasure. God that thing was awful.
And no, I haven't seen the sequel. And yes, I'm sure it sucks.

Other terrible actors include:
Angelina Jolie
David Spade
Brendan Fraser (except for his stint on Scrubs, which was suprisingly good)
Samuel L. Jackson (yes, Mr. Jackson is an annoying muthafucka....his schtick is too tired)
Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire (specifically in the Spidey flicks...)
All the actors in the prequel Star Wars trilogy...

And, I'd also like to add that I wish to defend Keanu Reeves.
It seems his acting abilities have matured with age.

It's impossible for me to hate actors that make shitty movies. I'm not going to be watching them what do I care. The ones that I can't stand are the actors/actresses that are in my favorite movies and keep me from loving it more. Fortunately I can only think of two; Orlando Bloom for managing to ham up every single line he had as Legolas, (I'm not a Tolkien fan at all, so there's no bias based on his character) and Mariel Hemingway for just being awful in Manhattan. I don't understand how she was even nominated. She's weird looking too.

Will Smith: I really shouldn't have to explain myself here. He started out on the comedy Fresh Prince (a show I also hate), and he hasn't stopped playing the same character since. That's his biggest problem, I he shouldn't. In all his "serious" roles is basically him just with a monotone face made that makes it as laughable as his comedies (I'm not planning on seeing Seven Pounds). For the rest of his movies, good ideas are always ruined by him. However, there are cases where no matter who the actor in lead was, the rest of the movie is just too damn dreadful to fix (I Am Legend and I, Robot in particular). Remember when he used to make a rap single for every summer movie he was in?

Halle Berry: I'll be honest, the first movie I saw her in was Die Another Day. This was back when I loved classic James Bond and even some of the modern ones, but I hated that back then. Let's not forget the butchering of both Storm and Catwoman. Once again, her "serious" rolls and awards is just nothing more Academy Awards drivel and I do not give a crap about her "personal life," tabloids. Oh yeah, she's not hot either.

Angelina Jolie: If Bono was an American female actress, he'd be Angelina Jolie. Oh yeah, she's definitely not either.

Matthew Broderick: Has he even been in a good movie? Looking at his listings here, doesn't look like it.

Sean Connery: I like him, but his butchering of Alan Moore's vision of Alan Quartermain in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is unforgettably unforgivable .

Will Smith. - He embodies the death of the actor. He does the same shit in every shitty movie he is in, and still makes $100M per movie.

Kate Winslet. Actually a fine actress but lately (since after Eternal Sunshine although I can't see why it'd have anything to do with that film) she makes me want to tear my eyes out. Right after tearing out hers.

I actually like Will Smith. I also liked Seven Pounds, which probably makes me a retard in the film lovers' world. Dunno, I just didn't find it as bad as other people.. Yeah, it's predictable, but at least Smith puts in a good performance.

Brad Pitt. Hugely overrated. He definitely did not deserve this years Academy Award nomination for best actor.
