Are you into Satie? (not Satie, but) The Venetian Gondola Song is one of my favourite piano pieces. Robin Alciatore kills it a bit, but you get the idea.

This is me. Nothing special, just favourites.

I never search for music or new bands,... If I listen to a song, it's probably because I heard it in a film somewhere which is why I listen to soundtracks, scores (Ennio Morricone, Philip Glass, Thomas Newman, Carter Burwell, Angelo Badalamenti,...).

also some oldies (Frankie Valli, Dean Martin, Edith Piaf,...), jazz (famous oldies and Peter Cincotti whose 1st album I really enjoyed), piano pieces (Chopin from The Pianist soundtrack, Debussy's "Claire de Lune", Mozart's "Piano Concerto Nr. 23 2nd mov" which Horowitz plays beautifully (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LqdfjZYEVE&feature=PlayList&p=47B5B53462579A85&index=29), and a couple of songs here and there (my favorite song of all time is "God's Gonna Cut You Down" from Johnny Cash, and I love Gorillaz, Faithless (went to their concert ==> awesomeness !!!, Muse, Jay Z, Daft Punk, Lauryn Hill)

As for Satie, I won't lie, I don't know his entire oeuvre, but I freaking love Gymnopédie No.1 and Gnossienne Nr.1 (which you can hear in the documentary "Man on Wire", probably other films aswell)

If I had to learn a new song (if and when I have the time), It'll be one of those 2...

I just listened to The Venetian Gondola Song... lovely 8-)

cute dog btw, since I live in an apartment, my parents won't let me have one :(

soon

I don't know how I missed this post the first time around. Suffice it to say, the music mentioned I either know and love, or will be aggressively tracked down and gently listened to.

Homemade videos.

The awkward series is all improved, but dawn is a real short.
