	Date of Birth: Dec 20, 1970 Country: Australia Biography: Daniel Ross is co-director of The Ister, as well as the author of the book, Violent Democracy (Cambridge University Press, 2004). His recent work has been influenced by the French philosopher Bernard Stiegler, one of the participants in The Ister, and he is translator of Stiegler's book, For a New Critique of Political Economy (Polity Press, 2010), as well as co-translator of another Stiegler book, Acting Out (Stanford University Press, 2009).
