Advocate Kurishummoottil Mariamma is known for her rhetoric and volatile temper while in court. Raju (Jagadish), who comes to the city in search of a job, woos Shyama (Sunitha) with the help of his old friend Williams (Siddique), & in the process Williams also fall in love with Shyama's friend Mercy (Suchitra). Later, Raju & Williams, who start a video store business, cover a political function, where they accidentally tape someone explode a bomb which kills the Chief Minister. This lands them in trouble, & they go on the run, with both the bad guys & the cops after them, wanting the tape.

Dr. Aparna (Lakshmi Lahari), whose divorce battle with Dr. Venugopal (Saikumar) is underway & is fighting for her son's custody, is an enigmatic personality. Aparna seduces Anand (Indrajith), her lawyer & the husband of her co-worker Dr. Mallika (Jyothirmayi), & also plays around with Thriprayar Madhavan (Mukesh), Aparna's neighbor & an aspiring musician who is in love with her. Then one day, Aparna is found dead by drug overdose, & Superintend of Police Jacob George (Sreenivasan) investigates.

Hotshot Architect & skirt chaser Prakash Menon (Jayaram) gets transferred to the Cochin branch of 'Builders India', from Trivandrum. This comes as a shock to Anu Pillai (Suchitra Krishnamoorthi), Chief Architect of that branch, because this meant that she had to move to Trivandrum. Not knowing who Anu is, Prakash sees her & likes her. To get close to her, Prakash's friend Mukundan (Jagathy Sreekumar), sets him up as a housecleaner, to look after Anu's apartment & her daughter, Chikku (Shamili).

High-court justice M.K. Menon (Thilakan) was a martinet who sentenced his own son, Marancheri Induchoodan (Mohanlal), for murder, for 6 years, although Induchoodan pleaded innocent. Returning back from jail, Induchoodan locks horns with enemies of his father - the Manappally family, who he believed framed him. In the ensuing tug of war, Manappally Pavithran (N.F. Varghese) frames M.K. Menon of killing his own illegitimate daughter Induleka (Kanaka). Induchoodan fights for his father's release.

Jagannathan (Mohanlal), friend of a rich businessman Nandakumar (Saikumar), buys Kanimangalam Kovilakam, a disputed ancestral home currently occupied by a girl, Unnimaya (Manju Warrier) & her surrogate father Krishna Varma (Oduvil). He starts off scaring them, but soon turns benevolent, protecting the people of Kanimangalam from the evil patriarch of the Kolappulli family, Kolappulli Appan (Narendra Prasad) & deciding to restart the defunct festival at the Kanimangalam temple, angering Appan.

Mannar Mathai (Innocent) runs 'Urvasi Theaters' with Gopalakrishnan (Mukesh) & Balakrishnan (Saikumar) as part of it. When the heroine of their latest drama leaves to join the movies, Gopalakrishnan brings home a girl whom he rescues from suicide - Meera (Vani Viswanath), as the new lead & later also marries her to escape a lie to his mom. Later, they learn that Meera is suicidal, but when she is cured, she doesn't recognize Gopalakrishnan & claims to be married to Mahendra Varma (Biju Menon).

Jnanashekhara Varma (Murali), a top cop, gets murdered after an anti-corruption tirade against the Revenue department of the ministry. Chandrashekharan IPS (Suresh Gopi), who has the nickname "The Tiger", gets handed the case. Soon after, Suhara Ahammed (Gopika), a TV journalist who was investigating Revenue minister Varkichan Narimattom (Rajan P. Dev), & her cameraman Kishore (Vineeth Kumar), goes missing. In the sequel to 'Devasuram', Mangalassery Neelakantan's (Mohanlal) son Karthikeyan (Mohanlal), who is now a rich businessman, continues the family rivalry with the Mundakkal family. Kunjan (Dileep), a humpback, meets a blind girl Chembakam (Navya Nair), whom he cares for after her father's death in an accident & also pays for a surgery to regain her eyesight. Prasad (Dileep) is a college student who is mourning over the loss of his girlfriend who died in an accident during a rape attempt, by the hands of Vasu (Saikumar). When he learns that his girlfriend had donated her eyes & those were given to Chembakam, he starts obsessing about Chembakam's eyes & begins stalking her.

Unnikrishnan (Dileep), an orphan & someone convicted as a juvenile, saves Qasim Baba's (Lal) life from a group of killers. Unnikrishnan assumes the name of Salaam as per advice from Baba & joins Baba's forces. Suleiman (Shammi Thilakan), Baba's nephew, murders Baba & puts the blame on Salaam & he gets sentenced to life. In jail, he joins up with 3 of his old pals from the juvenile home & plans to get back at Suleiman. Soon, Baba's old right-hand men also learns of Salaam's innocence & joins him.

Roy (Vineeth Sreenivasan) & Sanju (Vinu Mohan) are two pals struggling to make ends meet with their low salaries, working respectively as a teller at Kaustuban's (Jagathy) Kaustuban Financiers, a private finance company, & as a salesman in an electronics goods shop. To get out of a sticky situation, they rob Kaustuban Financiers for an amount of nearly 2 crores & try to get away. Kaustuban's brother-in-laws - a cop (Salim Kumar), a lawyer (Sadiq) & a politico (Cochin Hanifa), gets on their tail.

Lal Krishna Viradiyar (Suresh Gopi), a lawyer who dispenses his own sense of justice by proving criminals to be innocent in court & later killing them secretly, takes up the case for 9 female medical students accused of murdering & dismembering a freshman student, Chinthamani Warrier (Bhavana), with the intention of freeing them & exacting his revenge later. But as the case advances, Lal Krishna learns that the accused are actually innocent & someone else is responsible for Chinthamani's death.

Arjun (Dileep), trying to raise money to treat his crippled brother, joins BCM college & hopes to compete in the South Zone athletic meet & win the prize money, to be able to do that. Gowri (Gajala) & her elder brother Rahul (Madhu Warrier) also studies there. After an initial spat, Gowri takes a fancy to Arjun, angering Tinu (Riyaz Khan) who had an eye on Gowri. Tinu misleads Rahul against Arjun, which pits both of them against each other in the meet, with Gowri torn between Rahul & Arjun.

Four unemployed young men - Jayan (Mukesh), Sunny (Siddique), Suresh (Saikumar), Abdul Nasar (Sainuddin) - start an employment agency promising everyone a job if they register with them after paying Rs. 50. After spending all of it, they realize that procuring jobs for others wasn't as easy as they thought. As they tried to abscond at night, a woman (Chithra) running away from someone, seeks refuge with them. When they wake up in the morning they find the woman dead, along with their pal Suresh.

Malini Laxman (Madhavi), a PhD student invents a vaccine which would make a human immune to narcotics, but the formula gets stolen from her, her husband killed & she jailed for selling drugs, in a plot masterminded by her professor Ramamoorthy (Charu Haasan), Poonthurayil Itty (Rajan P. Dev) & Police commissioner Sathyanathan (Soman). Malini ends up in Mumbai where she becomes wealthy from the Mumbai Underworld & returns as Aparna, to take revenge on the people responsible for her losses.

Raju (Suraj), Cheri (Ramesh Pisharody), Winnie (Vani Kishore) & Udayan (Manikuttan) are close pals & have a music band. Raju meets & falls in love with Jyothi (Ayilya), who later strangely disappears. When a murder happens in the apartment next to Winnie, Raju is shocked to find that the wife of the deceased was Jyothi. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Aniyan (Jayasurya), & his senior, Police Commissioner (Saikumar) investigates the murder & Raju is the prime suspect in the Commissioner's eyes.

Harikrishnan (Sreenivasan) & Ravi Kumar (Siddique) are best friends & neighbors. Hari is happily married to Viji (Monisha) & Ravi is on the lookout for a suitable bride. But Hari is in for a rude shock when Ravi meets & decides to marry Indu (Shobana), whom Hari is convinced knows about Hari's dark past. A disturbed Hari seeks the help of his constable friend Purushothaman aka Purushu (Jagadish). Purushu, along with a small-time thief Thankappan (Mammukoya), hatch a plan to deal with the issue.

Injakkadan Mathai (Innocent) & sons Thankachan (Suresh Gopi) & Roy (Jagadish) run a gainful cloth shop while a rival store run by the Chungathara family is at a loss, much to the latter's ire. After Thankachan weds Beena (Saranya), daughter of an old pal of Mathai, Thommichan, Chungathara misleads David (Rajan P. Dev), Beena's uncle, into thinking that Mathai had killed Thommichan. Hearing this, Beena's sister Shirley (Urvashi) moves in with Mathai's family, to take revenge for her dad's murder.

Diwakaran (Jagadish), a medical sales rep, is also a thief, unbeknown to everyone but his pal Chaandy (Kalabhavan Mani). Mistaking retired school teacher Aravindakshan (Premachandran) for a politician, Diwakaran steals jewelry from him, which Aravindakshan had intended for his daughter's marriage. The cop investigating the case, Jayashankar (Vijayaraghavan), becomes Diwakaran's brother-in-law, to the latter's shock. Jayashankar then brings a proposal for Diwakaran - Aravindakshan's daughter!

Gomez (Gopi), Sethuramaiyer (Mammootty), along with aide Chacko (Mukesh), travels to Kannur Jail to meet death row convict & serial killer Isow Alex (Kalabhavan Mani), where Alex had a confession - of the 7 murders he was convicted of, 5 in Irani & 2 in Nadamangalam, he was innocent of the first murder in Nadamangalam - that of businessman Manikunju (Ramachandran V.). Sethuramaiyer reopens the case & investigates with the help of Chacko & prentice Ganeshan (Vineeth Kumar).

Self-made businessman Vinayachandra Kurup (Balachandra Menon) is a martinet at work & at home, with his mother (Kaviyoor Ponnamma), wife Vasantha (Geetha), brother Shanthan (Jayaram), uncle Gangadharan (Oduvil Unnikrishnan) & younger sister Sathi (Monisha). When Shanthan marries Beena, Vinayan's steno, without his permission, Vasantha sides with Shanthan, causing discord between Vinayan & Vasantha & leading to her leaving the house. Slowly, Vinayan's obstinacy drives everyone away from his life.

Businessman Parameswaran (Mohanlal) who leads a double life as gangster Usthad, unknown to his kid sister Padmaja aka Papa (Divya Unni), tries to wind down his illegal activities & settle down in Kerala. However, his old rival Yusuf Shah gets wind of him being there & teams up with Papa's husband Nandan's (Vineeth) brother-in-law Mohan Thampi (N.F. Varghese) & tries to tear Parameswaran's world apart. Yusuf gets Papa & Nandan framed & arrested & flees to Dubai, with Parameswaran on his tail.

Poomadathil Veerabadran (Suresh Gopi) who took after his father, Vishwanathan (Captain Raju), is a powerful figure in the village of Thiruvaloorpadam who has sworn to protect whoever seeks help with him first, regardless of right or wrong. His policies pits him against his uncles Mankoyikkal Kurups & the new buyer of the vast forest area of Vazhamala which used to belong to Vishwanathan, Manikkoth Marthandan (Saikumar). Marthandan has ulterior motives, unbeknown to even the Mankoyikkal Kurups.

Prabhakara Varma (Siddique) & wife, of royal bloodline, gets killed & their gardener Koonikkal Vasu (Murali) jailed for it. Varma's servant Elayath (Captain Raju) saves Varma's daughters Indu & Sindu & escapes to Bombay with them. Years later, Indu (Vani Viswanath) & Sindu (Indraja), now grown up, are back to Kerala for revenge, along with Elayath & his son Munna (Kalabhavan Mani). Their target is have Mukundan (Rajan P. Dev), their father's old servant & whom they believe to be the killer.

After Vijayaraghavan (Saikumar), whom his elder brother Govindankutty (Suresh Gopi) had given up his own dreams to educate, becomes an IPS officer, he overturns Govindankutty's wishes to marry fellow boater Kuttan Nair's (M.G. Soman) daughter Amminikutty (Chitra) & instead marries Mini (Renjini), daughter of local bigwig Madhava Panicker (Thilakan). Govindankutty disowns Vijayaraghavan & marries Amminikutty himself, with their mother Naniyamma (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) torn between the brothers' feud.

Sunil (Kunchako Boban), a christian, & Hema (Shalini), a Hindu, both orphans, fall in love & get married without knowing that their partner also was an orphan. After they are forced to come up with their parents to save their faces amongst their neighbors, they "adopt" an elderly couple, Menon (Thilakan) & Sreedevi (Bharathi), from a retirement home. Just as Sunil & Hema warm up to their new-found parents, the elderly couples' real son, Jayan (Saikumar), comes calling, claiming ownership.

Millionaire Achuthan Nair (Thilakan) of the Manikyamangalam family, shocks his greedy relatives waiting for his demise, when he reveals that he has an illicit daughter, Shoba, from an old affair. His relatives hire an imposter, Balagopalan (Mukesh), to pose as Shoba's husband & tell Nair that Shoba is dead, thus ending Nair's wait for his daughter. Prabhakara Menon (Nedumudi), Nair's pal, on the other hand, tries to prevent Balagopalan from saying this, fearing for Nair's fragile health.

Vinayachandran (Mohanlal), who joins the prestigious Preference School as a Malayalam teacher, approaches teaching with his unorthodox ways & prompts the students to be free thinkers, inviting the ire of the school management. On a personal level, his harmonious relationship with his wife Sindu (Samyuktha Varma) is threatened after Sindu's younger sister Bala (Geethu Mohandas) comes for a vacation & tries to copy Sindu's mannerisms & makes overtures towards Vinayachandran, in Sindu's absence.

Rameshan (Mammootty), an automotive scrap dealer of the Maya Bazar colony, has an ongoing rivalry with Bhadran (Kalabhavan Mani), over Maya (Sheela), whom Bhadran fancies, but who loves Rameshan. One day Rameshan is called to the govt. hospital morgue where he sees his double Lakshmi Narayanan (Mammootty), who had died in an accident, the previous day. Hearing that Lakshmi had suffered a blow to the head, which lead to the accident, Rameshan sets out to unknot the secrets behind Lakshmi's death.

A unit of Indian Army under Major Pattabi Raman (Mammootty), adopts the village of Ponnarimangalam as a temporary camp, upsetting the local populace, though they eventually warms up to the idea of the security of having the army around. In the course of their stay there, Pattabi discovers that the widow Vimala (Tessa) of officer Nandakumar (Indrajith), whom he had to euthanize, lived there, & also stumbles upon & busts a terrorist plot to poison the potable water of the villagers.

Pappan's (Innocent) eldest son Appukutta Menon aka Appu (Mammootty) had been the backbone of the successful business empire Leela group, but gets sidelined when his younger brother, London-educated Hari (Indrajith) who had an eye for profits rather than sentiments, applies multiple reforms in the firm. When business rival Sivan (Saikumar) tries to break apart Leela group using honey trap Veni Warrier (Sindhu Menon), leading to Hari killing Veni's accomplice in a scuffle, Appu takes the blame.

Mohammed Sarkar IPS (Suresh Gopi) is appointed by the government to investigate the shooting death of Rahim Haji (Narendra Prasad), a prominent community leader & ex-MP. Knowing that it was Rahim Haji's rival Narendra Shetty who was probably behind the murder, Sarkar investigates, but finds it difficult to procure solid evidence against Shetty. As Sarkar delves deeper, he discovers Shetty's involvement in illegal arms dealings & tries to expose him & break Shetty's empire.

The eccentric Dr. Appan Menon IPS (Suresh Gopi), who talks to his dead wife as if she was alive, gets deputed from his post of Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation MD to investigate the death of ex-minister Krishnan Nambiar (Biju Pappan). Susan Mary Thomas (Padmapriya), a social worker who was Nambiar's vocal critic, takes a fancy to Appan's eccentric ways & delves into his past in search of material for her new novel & encounters Appan's tragic past & a shocking revelation.

DIG Daisy Wilfred (Vani Viswanathan) investigates the serial murders of 3 girls, Linda Disuza (Pavithra), Aathira Nair (Althara) & Srada C.K. (Teena Ponnappa), members of a gang of spoilt, rich female medical students & the related accidental death of Linda's boyfriend Vivek Aravindakshan (Arun). With the killer after the rest of the gang, Daisy have to stop him before he takes his next victim.

Investigate journalist Annie Jacob (Samvrutha Sunil), lawyer Ravi Varma (Suresh Gopi) & DySP Thomas Eerali (Mukesh) tries to obtain justice for Sivarajan (Pasupathy), a father who had hacked to death a rich playboy Thalikkulathu Josekutty (Jayasurya), who had raped & killed Sivarajan's young & only daughter Vairamany (Dhanya Mary Varghese).

Balakrishna Kurup (Innocent) is forced by wife Kunjulakshmi (K.P.A.C. Lalitha) to remarry Saraswathi (Zeenath) after they had no luck conceiving. But after Kurup remarries, both his wives conceive, eventually turn enemies & their sons, Madhavankutty (Mukesh) & Krishnankutty (Saikumar), grow up to be rivals. When Radhika (Vaishnavi) of the Valiyakoyikkal family wanted a job at Kurup's school, both his sons vie to get her the job, with their mothers supporting them, each wanting to marry Radhika.

Antony Simon (Mammootty), CI Crime Branch, once a sharp officer, now has his world centered around his son Aadi (Dhananjay), with the result that he gets suspended from work for negligence. But when he saves a famous cricketer Sreekanth (Govind Padmasoorya) from a bunch of thugs, he gets famous & gets his job back. However, his world is shattered when he shoots a civvy by error & soon after Aadi is kidnapped by some thugs in revenge for Antony arresting dreaded don Bheembhai (Ashish Vidyarthi).

Krishnakumar aka Kichu (Prithviraj), a freshman, is brutally assaulted by his senior Sudhi (Bala), the youngest brother of the notorious Karimbanakattil brothers & his gang, after Sudhi takes offence to Kichu hanging out with Anjana Sivaraman (Priyamani), whom Sudhi had an eye on & whom Anjana's parents had agreed to marry off to Sudhi after college. The beating takes a severe toll on Kichu, more mentally than physically, & he returns to college a changed man, with a ferocious disposition.

Balamani (Navya Nair), a maid at the house of the 84-year old Unniyamma (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) in Guruvayur, & Manu (Prithviraj), Unniyamma's grandson, fall in love, but the disparity in their social statuses get in the way & Manu's marriage is fixed to a US-based girl by his mother Thankam (Revathy). However, on the eve of the wedding, the bride-to-be elopes with someone else & Manu's extended family starts searching for a replacement. Bringing up Balamani's name, however, draws stiff opposition.

Inspector General of Police Durgaprasad IPS (Suresh Gopi) investigates the roots of a bomb blast which took place in Chala, Trivandrum & the murder of Home Secretary Paul Joseph (V.K. Sriraman). His efforts pits him against the coterie of ex-minister Beerankutty (Saikumar), businessman Skaria Zacharia (Ashish Vidyarthi) & city police commissioner Vijay Basker (Subair). Durgaprasad also learns of a mole in his team who worked for Skaria & tries to smoke him out.

Balakrishnan (Sreenivasan), a village school teacher, & the new music teacher Nirmala (Samyuktha Varma), the object of his affection, gets involved in a mess when they get stuck in a resort in town & has to help a damsel in distress, Rita, from the goons of Delhi Pappachan (Nedumudi Venu). Rita gets in an accident for which they get blamed & Balakrishnan gets jailed, betrayed by Nirmala. 2 years later, Balakrishnan befriends a kind man, Nandakumar (Mukesh), whose fiancée turns out to be Nirmala.

Prakashan (Jayasurya), more interested in loafing around & dreaming of his childhood love Ponnu (Roma), rather than do any work, finally gets his wish when Ponnu's arranged marriage gets called off due to a misunderstanding involving him & finally she decides that she would marry Prakashan. However, the night of the marriage, his dreams are shattered when he is accused of rigging the mishap which caused Ponnu's first marriage to get called off, & shunned by everyone, he is forced to leave town.

Assistant Commissioner of Police & communist R.D. Nayanar (Suresh Gopi) quits his job & moves to Calcutta to join politics after his bitter struggle to bring Prathapa Varma (Devan) of the Ilayidathu Palace, whom he suspected of the murder of Police Commissioner Maya Pillai (Vani Viswanathan), ended in Varma & his goons brutally assaulting & crippling Nayanar. Years later, Nayanar, nominated as the new Chief Minister of Kerala after the communists win the election, returns to seek his revenge.

The male-hating residents of the Eshwari Madam house - Chinthamani Ammal (K.P.A.C. Lalitha), Ponnamma (Kalpana), Nancy Joseph (Vinaya Prasad), Vasundhara (Rudra) & Bhagyarekha (Urvashi) - get into a fix when a mysterious intruder (Jagathi Sreekumar) they strike down during the night, loses his memory & starts behaving like a 4 year old, calling himself "Ikru". They struggle to keep Ikru away from outsiders while trying to figure out his identity & the real reason he was there.

James (James), an impoverished youth, escapes from Kerala after faking his death & comes to Kodaikanal to take up the post of a music teacher at the Hill Valley Public School where his slaphappy ways gall the martinet school manager-owner Maya Johns (Anusha). When a body washes ashore on the backwaters of Kerala, three women - Revamma (Padmapriya), Pemmena (Kamalinee Mukherjee) & Kali (Meena Kumari Perera) - separately identify the corpse as Kutty Srank (Mammootty), a boatman who had touched each of their lives in different ways & recount their memories to police inspector Paskal (Sreekumar).

The life and times of Sree Narayana Guru (1855-1928), a mystic & social reformer of Kerala during the 19th Century. Born into an Ezhava family, in an era when people from backward communities like the Ezhavas faced social injustices in the caste-ridden Kerala society, Sree Narayana Guru led the Reform movement in Kerala, revolted against casteism & worked on propagating new values of freedom in spirituality & social equality, thereby transforming the Kerala society.

Manu Varma (Bala), neck deep in debt in Dubai, pins his hopes on his estranged late-father Varma (Saikumar) to leave him some money, only to find to his dismay that Varma had left everything to a brother Manu never knew he had, Alexander. Manu goes to India to see Alexander (Mohanlal), an autistic savant, who had been institutionalized for murder. Getting Alexander out for a few days, Manu tries to get Alexander to sign off his newly inherited wealth to him, only to be frustrated at every turn.

Krishna (Bala), on the run from the cops after beating up one, gets into an accident & ends up in Tamil Nadu with Meera (Megha Nair), a girl who was also involved in the same accident. Later, Krishna & Meera get mixed up in a terrorist plot by Andra Pradesh based naxalites to kill a cabinet minister, while Nainan Koshi (Suresh Gopi) of the Central Anti-Terrorist Wing & his team tries to stop the naxalites.

Tea estate worker Ramankunju (Indrans) is forced to stand by the communist party, whom he held close to his heart, when the party announces a strike against the estate management, for higher wages. However, the initial glimmer of hope wears off, after the strike continues for several days, leaving Ramankunju's family in misery and starvation.

Kasinathan (Mohanlal), running a successful Ayurvedic resort with friends in politics & the police, returns to his native village of Midhilapuri after his altruist elder brother Swaminathan (Nedumudi Venu) is killed in an 'accident' fabricated by Kasinathan's old foe, ex-minister Shankar Das (Saikumar) & businessman Dasappa Gounder (Manoj K. Jayan), when Swaminathan opposed their plans to modernize Midhilapuri.

Gangster Bava (Thilakan) seeks revenge against Mahendra Varma (Narendra Prasad) of the royal Krishnapuram palace for the atrocities Varma had done to Bava in his younger days. For that, Bava gets out on bail, Varma's son-in-law Hariprasad (Suresh Gopi), who was accused & jailed for having murdered Varma's daughter Lakshmi (Kanaka). Bava's aim was to cause mental anguish to Varma & to later kill Hariprasad & blame that on Varma too, but Hariprasad catches onto Bava's game & tries to outwit him.

Appukuttan, a simpleton, after getting repeatedly snubbed by girls & constantly being told by everyone that he lacks glamor, travels to Mumbai to undergo plastic surgery & get a new face. But after coming home, the new Appukuttan (Jagathi Sreekumar) finds that his family & friends are under the impression that he is dead & refuse to believe that he is Appukuttan. And to add to his misery, his brother-in-laws & sisters were scheming to usurp the family wealth for themselves.

Eradi (Innocent), who ran an old age home for abandoned women, 'Karunalayam', decides to sell it after he gets into financial trouble. To evacuate the place of its inmates so that he could sell the place, Eradi hires Vivek (Prithviraj), a young man out on his first job. Meanwhile, Akhila (Navya Nair) comes to Karunalayam with her mentally ill mother Janaki (Saritha). However, Vivek, who was an orphan, is touched by the love of all the mothers staying there & realizes that he can't evict them.

To seek revenge for the murder of his father, Forest Minister John Mathew (Thilakan), his son Baby Mathew (Mammootty) turns to illegal logging & timber trade to make his millions, the very practices he opposed as an activist when his father was alive. Using the money he earned thus, Baby lays carefully crafted plans against the current Forest Minister Thomas (Sukumaran) & illegal logger Devayyan (Charan Raj), the two people responsible for John Mathew's death.

The patriarch of the Arakkal family, Madhavanunni (Mammootty), dotes over his 4 younger brothers & they in turn are ready to kill or die for Madhavanunni. Patteri Sivaraman Nair (Saikumar), their cousin & Madhavanunni's arch rival, bitter over his constant failures at the hands of Madhavanunni, teams up with Mambram Bava (N.F. Village simple Kocherukkan (Jayasurya) elopes with his childhood sweetie Malli (Mythili), a maid at the house of wealthy Chandrasekhara Vazhunnor (Saikumar), & they stay with their pal Murugan (Sudheesh) to eke out a living. However, cop Kumaranesan (Siddique) who had lost an eye trying to stop their elopement, catches up with them & arrests Kocherukkan for a bunch of fabricated crimes. Eager to see Malli, Kocherukkan breaks out of jail, only to become more wanted in the eyes of the law.

Suresh (Saikumar), an educated but unemployed young man, pretends to be a rich boy to romance rich girl Lekha (Chitra), but gets exposed eventually & Lekha's father Nambiar (Prathapachandran) fixes her marriage elsewhere in anger. Suresh's father, caterer Govinda Kurup (Nedumudi Venu), vows to unite the lovers, but his arch rival Adicha Pillai (Innocent) tries to thwart his plans. Meanwhile Nambiar's rotund son Krishnappan woos Pillai's daughter Usha, complicating things further.

In this sequel to 'Mimics Parade (1991)', Jimmy (Asokan) leaves 'Kaladarshana' after a fight & forms his own mimicry troupe 'Yuvadarshana' to compete with Unni (Jagadish), Sabu (Siddique) & Co. Meanwhile, Kasim (Babu Antony), Kasarkode Khaderbai's (Alummoodan) son, arrives from Mumbai to seek revenge against the Kaladarshana artists for sending his father to jail. Seeing as how Kaladarshana's fall would benefit him too, Jimmy offers to help Kasim with his efforts.

Paul), Thattel Bobby (Saikumar) & Muhammad Hussain Haji (Rizabawa) after Murugan sides with bust businessman Moosa (Rajan P. Dev) in a land deal where Moosa was cheated out of his land by Haji. Swamy & company kill Moosa & play the hotheaded new city police commissioner Jayamohan (Biju Menon) against Murugan.

60 years after a lass of the Aalathoor Thekkemadam manor, Kuttimani (Kumari Joemol), was putatively killed by her jealous lover Krishnanunni (Kunchako Boban), & after which he was hanged, the current patriarch, Valiyathan (Thilakan), looks to restart a defunct religious rite. However, things get edgy after it started to seem like the old lovers have reincarnated as Gayathri (Kumari Joemol), a young girl of the current generation & Manu (Kunchako Boban), the caretaker's son, & they fall in love.

Boffo dramatist 'Shakespeare' Pavithran (Jayasurya) faces writer's block & comes to a village looking for ambience. He meets bubbly village belle Alli (Roma), who despite her troubles, spreads cheer all around. Finding a subject in Alli, he starts writing about her life & tries to mold her life to meet his expectations of her character in his play. However, when Alli disappears one day for a job to solve her family's debts, Pavithran realizes that she was more to him than a character in a play.

C.K. Achuthan Nair (Murali), the new upright Chief Minister of Kerala, faces various political & personal challenges which perils his tenure - a reprobate & drunk brother Gopan (Vijayaraghavan), a sister Sreekutty (Urvashi) who gets pregnant out of wedlock & his inability to end a 5-year long strike which he had started when he was a trade union leader at a local factory. The factory owner Dhanapalan (Janardanan) & Mathew Stephen (V.K. Sriraman) a cop whom C.K. had suspended, scheme to oust him.

Aattiprackal Jimmy Jacob (Mohanlal), the local youth-wing leader of the Kerala Desham Congress political party & a strongman, gets a foe in the form of new Superintendent of Police, Nayana Pillai (Nagma), who tries to reign in Jimmy's rule in Kottayam. Later, Jimmy is betrayed by his father-figure & party leader K.C. Korah (Saikumar) in a political game, leaving him accused for murder of his would-be bride Sherin's (Navya Nair) father Mathew Varghese (Nedumudi Venu), & wrecking Jimmy's family.

A traffic accident strings together the life of a group of people from differing backgrounds. In Kochi, rookie journalist Reihan (Vineeth Sreenivasan), on the deathbed after an accident, is taken off life support to remove his heart, to be rushed to Palakkad to be transplanted into the body of movie star Siddarth's sick daughter (Namitha Pramod). With 150 kms to cover in 2 hours with crowded roads & towns along the way, the arduous task is taken up by disgraced traffic cop Sudevan (Sreenivasan).

After a major terrorist bomb blast in Coimbatore which leaves scores dead, Anti Terrorist Squad D.I.G. Stalin Manimaran (Prakash Raj) arrests the prime suspect in the case, Muslim community leader & businessman Babu Sait (Lal), but who subsequently gets out on bail due to lack of evidence. While inside the jail, Sait had met an orphaned young man, Anwar (Prithviraj), whom he indoctrinates for jihad after getting out, & together they plan for further bomb blasts in Kochi & subsequently, Mumbai.

Plus two student Prince (Roshan) takes pity on a young girl, Meenakshi (Shafna), who had come to the city along with her mother (Shobha Mohan) in search of her sister & husband, but whose mother shortly dies afterwards. Prince, who was living alone, gives shelter to Meenakshi in his house and they slowly fall in love. However, their families come in between them.

Vinayachandran (Prithviraj), a teacher, comes to the remote village of Vannanmala and tries to reform the run-down local public school which had a poor academic record.

Accused of killing his father Vazhapalli Anthony (Saikumar) & leaving town 16 years ago, Kunjumon (Kalabhavan Mani) returns to the Thykkal beach community for reparations, but faces rejection from his own mother & sister, both of them still smarting over Anthony's death. Kunjumon rallies the fishermen together against Polakkandathil Vakkachan (Vijayaraghavan), the evil local bigwig who was oppressing them & gives the fishermen a better life, but Kunjumon had a hidden agenda for his return.

Based on the 11 July 2006 Mumbai train bombings, the film is a take on the lives of Malayali families affected by the bomb blasts. Police officer Kedarnath (Mammootty), after losing his wife & elder daughter to a terrorist attack, is ever suspicious & a keen observer. He gets suspicious of a stranger at a train station & goes on a mission to track him down, who later turns to be the gang leader of the group responsible for the blasts.

A stranger (Jayaram) comes to a village where a father, Madhava Menon (Thilakan), had been waiting for his long-lost son Balan for 15 long years, along with Balan's childhood sweetheart Ashwathy (Kanaka), who had remained unmarried for Balan. The stranger pronounces himself to be Balan & gives Menon & Ashwathy a new lease of life. Days later, when everyone seemed happy, the real Balan (Saikumar) shows up. The stranger was actually Vikraman, a criminal from Mumbai, hiding away from his own gang.

Movie aficionado Manikunju (Indrajith) comes to Chennai looking for a job in the film industry. At Gemini Labs, he discovers the old print of a film that his dad had directed 35 years back, which was never released. Manikunju watches it, which tells the story of Ravi (Dileep) & Sulekha (Kavya Madhavan), who fall in love against all odds. Later, Manikunju learns that the actors who had played the roles, Shajahan & Mary Varghese, were in love as well, & had eloped into obscurity after the shoot.

Life threatens to derail for boater Sivankutty (Sreenivasan) & daughter Manju (Ganga Babu) when maniac criminal Komban Lawrence (Pasupathy) escapes police custody & seeks revenge against Sivankutty. Lawrence's reason - 12 years ago, when Sivankutty's young daughter & Manju's twin, died because of Lawrence, Sivankutty shot Lawrence in a fit of rage which confined him to bed for 12 years. On the run from Lawrence, Sivankutty finds a ray of hope in Mukundan (Indrajith), the young man next door.

Three freewheeling bachelors, Unni (Jayaram), Boney (Mukesh), & Vinod (Saikumar), find their lives changed forever when they find a baby girl abandoned at their doorstep. Struggling to take care of her, the frustrated trio tries to get rid of her initially, but the baby always ended up back in their arms. Just as they started to love the baby & get attached to her, the biological mother of the baby, Maya (Urvashi), shows up & demands her back.

Sreeramakrishnan (Prithviraj) & Milan Paul (M. Sasikumar) are best friends from college who are now a choleric cop & a socially conscious journo who frequently work together. Sree gets the task of investigating the murder-suicide of businessman Balagangadhar (Vijayaraghavan) who was killed by a girl who seemingly didn't have anything to do with him. Two other murders quickly follow, all with unrelated victims & perps, & Sree & Milan try to unravel the pattern & motives behind the murders.

Opposing the sand mafia was the honest & environmentally conscious cop Tomy Sebastian (Kalabhavan Mani). Sparks routinely flare between Kannan & Tomy, but things take an ugly turn when Tomy is found dead in Kannan's sand truck. Kannan is accused of Tomy's murder & jailed.

Unnikrishnan finds that the people there were still being oppressed by Panicker & his sons Dineshan (Ramu) & Rameshan (Rizabawa) & he joins hands with the local farmers to organize against Panicker.

At the famous Lakshmipuram palace, princess Lakshmi (Mathu) is 3 months away from becoming major, & the palace receiver Sivashankaran is scared of her asking for the palace accounts, which would expose the peculation he committed. Sivashankaran tries to get Lakshmi to marry his son Sudhakaran (Vijayaraghavan), but fails. Lakshmi's cousin Ravi Varma (Devan) who had his eye on her & her assets, comes down to marry her, but she takes a fancy to her music teacher Vishnu (Saikumar) & elopes with him.

Sreedevi (Parvathi) & Shiny (Urvashi), who used to be friends in college, meet again as neighbors when Shiny & her husband Roy (Mukesh) move in as tenants into the ground floor of the same house Sreedevi & her husband Rajmohan (Saikumar) lived in. Roy & Rajmohan too become best friends, but soon their collective friendship is ruined when Roy starts to pay heed to rumors from others that Shiny was having an affair with Rajmohan, & Rajmohan starts to suspect the same between Sreedevi & Roy.

In this sequel to 'August - 1...? (1988)', a coterie of crooked businessmen - Selvam (Ranjith), Eepan (Johny) & Narayanan (Chali Pala) - frustrated with the upright Kerala Chief Minister V.G. Sadasivan (Nedumudi Venu) who constantly posed hurdles to their businesses, hires an assassin (Siddique), to kill the Chief Minister. After the first attempt by poisoning fails, DSP Perumal (Mammootty) is given the task of investigating & stopping the determined assassin from further attempts.

As part of a deal between pals Rajagopalan Thampi (Nedumudi Venu) & Subrahmanyam (Bhagyaraj), Thampi's son Ashok Chakravarthy (Dileep) plots & marries Subrahmanyam's arrogant daughter Rajalakshmi (Sanusha), who was brought up by an equally arrogant & rich businesswoman Rajamallika (Khusboo), Subrahmanyam's estranged wife. After learning of Subrahmanyam's relation to Ashok, Rajamallika wages a war against Ashok to keep him away from Rajalakshmi. Ashok meanwhile, tries to set the family straight.

Aliened lovers, ace cameraman Venu (Mohanlal) & reporter Renuka (Amala Paul), go on the run after they are duped into broadcasting a fake murder on TV, when the murdered man shows up alive later. This was a plot hatched by politico Bharathan Pillai (Saikumar) & businessman Rajan Kartha (Siddique) to mend their images, once ruined by Venu & Renuka in a previous sting operation. Venu & Renuka try to untangle the plot & prove their innocence, while battling their own torpid feelings for each other.

Madhavan (Saikumar), the influential bigwig & father figure of the village of Chandragiri is killed by foes from his past who descends on the village. Madhavan's son, college student Arjun (Prithviraj), is forced to take up his father's mantle after Madhavan's death & seeks revenge for his father's death.

In this remake of 'The Proposal', a pushy & arrogant female boss, Priya (Mamta Mohandas), an Australian citizen, forces her assistant Manu (Dileep) to marry her in order to keep her visa status in India & avoid deportation to Australia. To prove to their visa officer that their relationship is genuine, they travel to Manu's hometown to meet his parents where Priya learns a thing or two about familial relationships.

DCP Madhava Menon (Mohanlal) of Mumbai police, also known as "Mad Maddy" because of his temperamental character, is an encounter specialist who kills off criminals rather than risk them getting off via legal loopholes. Usually going after illicit money accumulated through bribes, Nandagopal steals the money & distributes it to the poor & deserved.

Madhavan (Balachandra Menon), the upright Chief Minister of Kerala, is killed in a bomb explosion, & unable to find the culprits, a special investigation team is summoned from Delhi, headed by ace investigator Bharath Patteri (Mammootty).

Thoma (Dileep), living under the shadow of his martinetish & miserly father Plapparambil Paulo (Saikumar), faces ridicule & rejection from everyone, including the girl of his dreams, Sreelakshmi (Namitha Pramod), because of his cleft lip & deformed voice. Paulo had a bad reputation in town because of his stinginess, & was finding it difficult to get his elder son married off. Thoma devises a scheme to make Paulo look generous & but it backfires & makes things worse for Paulo's reputation.

Struggling contractor Dinesh Kondody (Jayasurya) sells a house he partially owned to Paramu Nair (Narendra Prasad) to get cash for his share & ease his financial woes, but a resurvey of the land leaves half of the house in Kerala & the other half in Tamil Nadu. The part in Tamil Nadu comes under the ownership of Peria Thevar (Thalaivasal Vijay) & his niece Sundari (Girly) starts living in that part of the house. Dinesh starts living in the other side & soon they are scheming to evict each other.

Dada Mohammed Sahib (Mammootty) is an old freedom fighter & his son Abubacker (Mammootty) is a former soldier. Abubacker, when he finds arms racketeering taking place in his home town involving people in the high echelons of power, including Jail IG Skaria Sacharia (Rajan P. Dev) & MLA Mohammedkutty (Saikumar), catches them in the act, but they frame Abubacker for terrorism & gets him sentenced to death. However, he manages to survive an attempt to hang him & escapes to expose the real traitors.

Padmanabhan (Dileep), a young man from Palakkad who makes a living supplying bodies for functions & events, comes to Trivandrum to participate in a rally, but ends up locking horns with the biggest bigwig of the city, Pushpam Prakash (Sayaji Shinde). Seeing how Prakash exploits the people of the city with the help of its Mayor Purushothaman (Vijayaraghavan), Padmanabhan runs for Mayor himself & wins. Padmanabhan starts a major effort to get back land illegally acquired by Prakash.

Ramanathan IPS (Mammootty), the upright & irascible Commissioner of Police, tries to defend his brother-like friend Appu (Dileep) from a murder allegation, after Appu is accused of engineering the mass murder of his girlfriend Daisy's (Kavya Madhavan) family & the attempted murder of Daisy. Despite he himself being accused of being an accomplice & harboring Appu, Ramanathan eggs on and his investigations reveal the hands of top politicians & cops in the mass murder.

A baby girl with supernatural powers, Rudra, is born in the house of Thirumangalam, to Aniyan Thampuran (Biju Menon) & Ammu (Indraja), per a premonition by Aniyan's uncle (Madambu Kunhukuttan) & the patriarch of the family. An evil sorcerer, Chudalan (Siddique), dons the disguise of a gardener to enter the family, with the intention of destroying Rudra. As a counter-force, a good sorcerer, Thalakkulathu Nambi (Suresh Gopi) also shows up as a Kalari artist, to stop Chudalan & to protect Rudra.

Krishna Prasad (Jayaram), an elephant-lover, has his life revolving around elephants & temple festivals, to the detriment of his own life where he is constantly in penury & is treated as irresponsible by his own family. When the famous captive elephant of his village, Manpulli Arjunan, meets with an accident & his owner decides to put him down, Prasad takes up the care of the elephant in return for its ownership, which worsens his already bad financial situation.

Sree (Jomon), an ambitious young man & his pal Madhavan (Harisree Asokan) stumble across a Blackberry phone mistakenly left behind by a gangster (Baburaj) in a movie theater. The phone turns out to be the conduit through which the gangster was getting his jobs, which Sree started using for himself. Meanwhile, the Home Minister's (Devan) daughter Sreedevi (Mythili) is kidnapped & ends up in Sree's hands. With the goons chasing the phone & the cops looking for Sreedevi, Sree goes on the run.

He meets bank employee Meera (Aparna Gopinath) & weaves plans to rob the bank where Meera works.

In this sequel to 'Mannar Mathai Speaking', Mathai (Innocent) looks to restart Urvashi Theaters for it's 25th anniversary. They find a new heroine, Nithya (Aparna Gopinath), who turns out to be Ramji Rao's (Vijayaraghavan) daughter. Hareendra Varma (Biju Menon), Mahendra Varma's twin, uses his now-mentally ill brother to transfer a precious gem which falls into the hands of Mathai & Co., which they promptly lose. Mathai & Co. have to don their masks again for another gamble to retrieve the gem.

Small-time actor Vishnu (Mammootty) gets tangled up with a criminal, Guru Dada (Ajay Ratnam), after he tries to protect his landlord Divakaran (Janardanan) from Guru, which culminates in a fight in which Vishnu kills him. Mathews (Narendra Prasad), an old foe of Guru, is arrested for the crime & he subsequently dies in jail. Guilt-ridden, Vishnu tries to be a guardian to Mathews's daughter Susanna (Shobana) & son (Vineeth Kumar). Meanwhile, cop Chandramohan (Ganesh Kumar) was on Vishnu's tail.

Unnithan (Captain Raju) & Varkey (Lalu Alex), who used to be like brothers, split over Varkey siding with Lakshmi (Mathu), Unnithan's sister, when she chose their servant Damu (Asokan) as her husband. Best friends turned rivals, Unnithan makes it his life's mission to destroy Varkey, & the rivalry also spills over to their sons' lives - Unnithan's son Bharathan (Saikumar) & Varkey's son Lalichan (Ganesh) & Lakshmi's son Babu (Manoj K. Jayan), whom Varkey brings up as his own son.

Prince & his dog get a chance to make a movie, which becomes a hit, making Diana a canine star. Soon, Prince gets a chance to get even with his ex-girlfriend, as the two Diana's face off in a new film.

Rebecca Uthup (Ann Augustine), a promising athlete, has to deal with family issues, when her engagement to Kuruvila (Jishnu) is disrupted when she is accused of having an affair with her coach & friend Arjun (Sidharth Bharathan). Earlier, Rebecca's marriage to Kuruvila was planned by her uncles (Sreekumar & Shanawas) as a means to keep the family wealth from going outside.

When even after Chandrasekharan's release, Vishwanathan & his sons (Suresh Krishna & Riyaz Khan) were not willing to leave them alone, Siddhu decides to fight back.

The happiness of the Parankiyath family is shattered when Kasim's (Siddique) eldest daughter Wahida (Kanika) elopes with her lover Madhavankutty (Jayaram), before her wedding. Then, the recession set in, & in a bid to stay afloat, Jacob partners with a man called Ajmal, who cheats him out of all his money. Jacob flees to Liberia to raise money, while the responsibility of providing for the family falls on Jerry & Sherly.

James (Prithviraj) & Alice (Vedika) fall in love & get married, but after having a kid & slipping into mundane married life, their troubles start. James gets busy with work & doesn't get time for family, which ends up in Alice filing for divorce. At this juncture, James has a car accident which puts him in a coma. His spirit encounters St. Peter (Sijoy Varghese) who walks him through what he did wrong with Alice in life. Alice, meanwhile on earth, also realizes how important James was to her.
