Mini-Review: Wow, this is a great action film crossed with a brilliant examination of how society deals with hope and fear. The Joker believes society is a farce and sets about to make it self destruct. Batman is, of course, a force outside of society, but strongly allied with society and order. The Dark Knight did an amazing job of handling these broader themes and of appropriately dealing with the stress and ideals of the individuals.
