The Deer Hunter (1978) - Rated 30 Oct 2010
"Upon re-watching this with a friend of mine I felt I had to rate it again. This is without a single doubt one of the most emotionally involving movies I have ever seen in my life. The final "God bless America" scene is one of the best and most emotionel endings ever made. De Niro and Walken give performances of a life time and Michael Cimino's attention to detail and slow pacing of the movie is just amazingly well done. A true classic."
