Mini-Review: Yeah, it's the X-men, and that's kinda cool. Otherwise, not much by way of plot, lame characterization, and a movie that tried to pack way too much into its two hours. Go read a graphic novel instead.
Mini-Review: Every funny thing that might happen to a cop, packed into two hours. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wet yourself laughing, and then cry about it.
Mini-Review: Barely watchable schlock violence. Par for the Tarrantino course.
Mini-Review: Really two movies packed into one: a great movie about bootcamp, and a lame movie about Vietnam. Watch it for the drill sergeant, and you can probably turn it off after they're through with him.
Mini-Review: I was worried that this was going to really piss me off with some sort of BS "magic" twist to it. There IS a bit of the otherworldly, but the incredible rivalry between Jackman and Bale is so well-played that you really will forgive it. Worth a watch.
Mini-Review: OK, an improvement over "The Phantom Menace", and still Star Wars... but still also not that good.
Mini-Review: Maybe I missed the cool parts. I kind of drifted in and out during all the interminable boring parts. It's a classic, and you want to see it just to understand, "I'm sorry, Dave..." but maybe it would help to be doing something else at the same time. Thanks, MTV, for frying my attention--hey, is that a bird?
