"What beautiful cinematography. Some of the shots from the games were amazing, and there's enough performances and meat to the story around it to make a very good movie. Of course, it helps that they had a Michael Lewis written story as a guideline, it's tough to mess that up."

"The story is a lot cleaner, and thus more compelling than the first film. The action picked up rather quickly, but they didn't rush the action at the expense of the plot as you commonly see. It's one of the better crime dramas in recent history, and the Rio background makes it feel genuine.
My only significant problem with it is that they open with a significant scene in the ending, only to create a "twist" by altering this scene later. So many movies do this and I don't understand why."
