Mini-Review: Very visually powerful. It was confusing for me figuring out which son actually died. I thought the creation of the universe stuff was sort of stupid but at least it helps the movie stand out and makes for some awesome special effects.
Mini-Review: Such an awesome movie. The characters were all quite well-developed and I loved all of them. A surprisingly satisfying ending. I really like Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Mini-Review: Quaint. I really liked young Helena Bonham Carter in this. I ended up sympathizing most with Cecil though...
Mini-Review: Ridiculous. Very funny. The use of 3D is pretty hilarious.
Mini-Review: The first part on Parris Island is absolutely amazing, all the way from the haircuts to the climax in the bathroom. The rest of the movie is also excellent but just feels like an aftermath in comparison. It is overall an excellent, excellent movie, and is probably my new favorite war movie. Oh yeah, and Rafterman seemed like a very nonessential character. I guess he further characterizes Joker, but to a minimal extent in my opinion.
Mini-Review: A beautiful, beautiful movie. Loved it.
Mini-Review: Sometimes I wonder if Kaufman is a one-trick pony. Nonetheless, his films have never failed to entertain me. I liked all of the characters and the way that the plot was put together. My only issue was that
It was sort of shocking how violent and serious the film became in the last few minutes.
Mini-Review: Gorgeous visuals. Sort of a shallow and slow story. Very different though, which I like.
Mini-Review: A painful movie to watch.
