Recent Rankings
70 Rocky IV (1985) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Drago..that's about all I have to say.
80 The Weather Man (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Delightful black comedy. Was slow at some points, but overall very enjoyable.
85 Everything Is Illuminated (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: One of my favorite movies of the year. The first half is a very funny comedy with cultures clashing, the second a very poignant look at the holocaust and it's everlasting effects.
75 King Kong (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Popcorn flick at its finest. Peter Jackson did what he could and it wasn't too bad, but nowhere near his best work.
60 Just Like Heaven (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Bah, I wish my ex never wanted to see this. For what it was, it wasn't bad, but I hate romantic comedies.
70 Elizabethtown (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: It wasn't one of Cameron Crowe's finest films, but it provided some very memorable scenes, especially the end with Freebird.
75 The Pacifier (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: I was surprised that I found it so funny and entertaining. Who knew I would enjoy a Vin Diesel flick.
72 Waiting... (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Coming from a family with a long rooted history in the resteraunt business, this does well in exposing the craziness of being in the food business, but it was more or less generic in laughs.
80 The Producers (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Comparing this to the original is like comparing apples to oranges. I enjoyed both immensely. I half expected this to flop majorly, but was surprised that it was so funny and stayed so true to the original.
90 Crash (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: It was a good movie, but I don't think it deserved an Oscar win. I look foward to seeing more from Haggis in the coming years though.
