Mini-Review: floyd in their psychedelic prime. before they turned into a huge stageshow and hired back up musicians. an epic must see for any floyd fan! the whole pompeii idea is pretty cool, too. if you get the dvd, somewhere in the menus, you have the option to watch just the concert footage. like everyone has said, the director's cut cgi is pretty bad... haha. it's all about the show. some of the backstage antics are pretty awesome, too. darkside in the works, and mason disputing the shape of his pie.
Mini-Review: it perhaps relies on it's flashy cgi destruction scenes a bit (and who can complain really? there's some amazing stuff in there.), but it really is a very worth-while and fun story. Cage does fine. get over yourselves.
Mini-Review: "a talking snake made a lady eat an apple, so we're screwed." oh man. haha. Mr. Bixby has just made a fan. awesome writing and the acting isn't nearly as bad as anyone's implied. most characters are sincerely believable and very diverse personalities are easily evident. not flashy. just a visual adaptation of some very good writing. if you're looking for something with a lot of depth, this is it.
Mini-Review: ahhh the twinkie. bad ass. seriously good movie, though. stewart plays an interesting and still quite human role very well.
Mini-Review: if you're really into this sort of thing, this movie is a pretty well-rounded and realistic look at the possibilities of abductions. rather long and slow-paced, but i was content and interested through-out the film. An interesting note is that this film does pretty good justice to the facts of real cases and bases it's ideals from them. believable characters and acting help all the more to really make things seem possible.
Mini-Review: Not a follower of the series at all, but this movie was done very well. surprisingly good acting.
