Mini-Review: The good version of Inception. Paprika has stunning animation, and captures the imagination of a dream perfectly. The story keeps you interested and constantly makes you wonder. The soundtrack is also a highlight.
Mini-Review: A truly heart-wrenching documentary. The story of Nim is both extremely moving and very emotional. Most people seem to miss the focus of the documentary being Nim's progress through life, and try to gain too much information of the actual project, the research behind it, and the issues that are caused by it.
Mini-Review: Poor dialogue, awkward character interactions, and forced plots twists that you can see coming a mile down the road hinder this film greatly.
Mini-Review: holybeautiful
Mini-Review: Oh Nicolas, why hast thou forsaken me?
Mini-Review: What can I even say? Tarkovsky delivers strong with The Sacrifice, and one should not be surprised. The imagery is absolutely breath-taking, from scene to scene. Tarkovsky's poetic elements of man vs nature, man vs man, and man vs God are nearly unmatched in the world of cinema. All of this is then helped tied together beautifully by strong performances all around.
Mini-Review: I'm almost certain I've seen this film multiple times before.
