Mini-Review: It always amazed me how overrated this movie had become. Having first saw it in the theater while on a trip to Kentucky I accepted it as a good popcorn flick, but did not think so highly of it as others have come to. There is nothing really special about this movie, the story is decent but everything else is bland and boring save for the amazing acting.
Mini-Review: This may be the best game-based movie ever made, but that doesn't mean it's a great film. Hollywood has a habit of dumbing things down for mainstream America. Silent Hill is raw, violent and oppressive, this movie lacks all three of those. Oh yeah, Harry Mason is a man, why they thought it would be a good idea to change such an important character's sex is beyond me.
Mini-Review: One day whilst sitting in a movie theater I happened to notice a trailer for an upcoming movie featured a song from my favorite band Nine Inch Nails, I almost screamed aloud in the room too. This is a great action flick, almost more of a homoerotic opera.
