Mini-Review: Boring film. Should not have been based on a true story, really. Oh, btw, that Charley Butt guy was so ugly. Where did they get him from???
Mini-Review: Better than the remake, but it's still dull and full of cheap scares and bad acting.
Mini-Review: Has some good scenes, and it has an happy ending. But it doesn't have emotional scenes, and that maid was annoying as hell.
Mini-Review: Slightly better than the 50s version. But it's still not good. Fay Wray was the best thing in this.
Mini-Review: Films of the pre-60s are bad. They are sexist, the men are always ugly (why?) and annoying, they have torturing long talking scenes, cheesy music and a boring storyline. The only best thing about is the women -- Most are quite pretty. Btw, why is that the films in that age are always boring? I thank them, cos without them, there would've been no modern films.
Mini-Review: Nothing special. Cheap scares. Too long and boring. Harrison Ford sucked as the bad guy. Btw, Michelle Pfiefer is quite pretty for her age.
Mini-Review: Would've been a really crap film if it was about a NORMAL guy, you know, fictional biographical films where they tell a story of a guy and they show every single event of his life (birth, sex, death, etc), just like Forrest Gump and Big Fish -- Nothing special about them. What made this film so good was that the main character was de-aging (gettin' younger). It was a very long film, but it was neatly paced. Though I wouldn't mind if some scenes were cut, but most were necessary. A great film!
Mini-Review: Has some good suspense. But the chase scenes, at some parts, dragged too long. The ending was too abrupt. It would've been better if (SPOILER AHEAD!) we knew who the truck driver was and all that stuff. (END SPOILER) This film would've been better if it were a mystery . Btw, this film was better than ALL of the Spielberg films I've seen (E.T, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones).
Mini-Review: I don't review films that I partially view because, 1, most of them aren't mainstream films, 2, I hated them (obviously) so I won't waste time on them, and 3, I haven't seen them fully and it's not fair. Hellboy II was the film I reviewed on. Now it's this. This film just sucks so bad, it's nauseating. The camera movements, the digital effects, the editing, the characters (except for that Aussie woman, the black man--Mahalik from SCM4 and Jon Voight). It was a torture to continue watching it.
Mini-Review: Has some good car racing scenes, but they weren't as good as what people were saying. The plot wasn't special at all. What ruined the car racing was the cinematography -- It was so bad.
