Mini-Review: This movie is a study in how you can take a mediocre book and transfer it into a work of art. Every shot is magnificent. A boring trackshot of a train turns into fine art. The atmosphere is bleak and dirty or warm and cozy just the way Fincher does it at his best. The actors does a great job and Rooney Mara is a great choice for Salander. She convinces as opposed to her Swedish counterpart.
