Recent Rankings
99 It's a Wonderful Life (1946) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: Yes, it's all you think it is. Yes, I cried. Yes, it's wonderful. Yes, you must see this one.
86 V for Vendetta (2006) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: Drags in parts, but this story resonates so hard in a country with a questionable government ike my own is honestly well-acted, -written and set up.
51 The Da Vinci Code (2006) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: For such a great book, this one is pretty slow and boring. Worth a rental and nothing else.
97 The Bourne Identity (2002) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: Fast-pace action like it's meant to be! And Matt damon finally sheds his nice boy persona into the ultimate badass.
82 Sleepers (1996) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: Tense legal-court drama mixes with a coming-of-age story you've never seen.
60 Reign of Fire (2002) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: Not as bad as you mightt have heard about, and Matthew McConaughey even manages to outshine Christian Bale. But it is a bit messy.
62 Men in Black II (2002) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: Drags a bit too long and doesn't have the charm of the fuirst one, but hey, it's our boy Will. And the FX are still great.
72 The Fugitive (1993) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: This is Tommy Lee Jones' movie, Harrison Ford just shows up in it and look confused. But it does its job.
89 Doubt (2008) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: Marvelously acted by all three leads and packs a true emotional punch with no manipulation. A bit slow for my standards and it sometimes feels too much like the adapted play it is than a movie, but a great creation nonetheless.
99 The Big Lebowski (1998) - Apr 18, 2011
Mini-Review: Are you kidding me? What's NOT to like? Jeff Bridge's best performance yet (and John Goodman's) will have you quoting this movie endlessly, plus the noirish plot which will keep you guessing all the way. The Dude approves!
