Mini-Review: Vulgar at times, but hillarious nonetheless. It's for an older American Pie style crowd.
Mini-Review: A Family-Drama at its finest, and in Italian. Cute love sequence, followed by an amazing, funny, and clever story of a father's attempt to convince his son that Life is Beautiful.
Mini-Review: Great swanky fun for the entire family. Very little cursing, an amazing cast, a terrific score, and it's entertaining to boot.
Mini-Review: Too much flesh and too little resolution. With this attempt to convince the audience that they've missed something at the end of the film, the movie just barely convinces me that the director was not entirely interested in showing off the pretty, young actress that played the supporting role.
Mini-Review: After the first viewing, I found it a little tasking, but it is a good thiller. It gets spooky at times, yet it has no real gore, making this a good movie to catch with a date.
Mini-Review: I believed that this film was well done, though it does not follow the Iliad. However, it isn't called "The Iliad," and I think most people forget that this is only Wolfgang Peterson's film using the elements of the book, not the book itself. A bit violent for youngsters, but a good historic-action film for teens on up.
Mini-Review: Though the plot seems to turn folks away from this film, the romance between Cuthbert and Hersch is done tastefully. It is rated "R" for a reason, however.
Mini-Review: An average film about human suffering. That's just enough to turn me away for good. The trick at the end is no justification for the first hour and a half.
