"A serviceable adaptation, that rushes through its source material without taking much breaks. The kid playing Jim Hawkins was maybe a bit too young for the role - though the character's age isn't specified in the novel, so it leaves some room for imagination - and somewhat annoying. The pirates were overly comical, though I kinda warmed up to Beery's Silver as the movie went on."
