100 Inception (2010) - Jul 16, 2010
Mini-Review: A Perfect Film! Amazing in cinematography, acting, special effects, very original and a glorified film!
97 Drunken Master (1978) - Jul 15, 2010
Mini-Review: Excellent, Funny, and Over the top awesome action kung fu film with very developing characters and impressive action scenes that beat even todays standards! Great film!
10 Alice in Wonderland (2010) - Jul 14, 2010
Mini-Review: This is just a horrible film. I was really looking forward to this film but almost every aspect and thing about it was just terrible! The acting is mediocre and everyone acts bored, I am quite surprised by how well Johnny Depp is still able to play the SAME character in his last few films. The story is just simple, go defeat the red queen but in the film they give the most idiotic character choices and traits by Alice. Deciding to save the Mad Hatter after only knowing him for ten minutes. This
60 The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) - Jul 14, 2010
Mini-Review: Realizing this. The Twilight films are NOT the worst films in the world, there are far much more horrible films out there this is just over hype and "different taste" in vampires and werewolves and you know. This is a bad film but it is the best one out of the three I have seen. The film has a lot of pointless character development and no one really does anything in the film up until the end. I think the best things in this film was the backstory of Jasper which really made the film interesting
90 Predators (2010) - Jul 13, 2010
Mini-Review: One of the best sequels ever! The film does stay very true to the original all the way. The characters develop a lot in a great pace film with a simple plot that expands into several minor plots. There is one character that seems to be a badass in the film but ultimately has a sucky ending, I am referring to Laurence Fishburne's character. The Predators are really awesome and dark and the environment the characters are put in is very realistic, the best part of the film is the music score, havin
100 Full Metal Jacket (1987) - Jul 08, 2010
Mini-Review: Considered in my opinion one of the best war films ever. I love the 2 parts of the film showing Basic training and the war in Vietnam. The characters develop very well for seeing the majority of the cast that made it into Vietnam part. Joker is the most developing and I love the sergeant. Very well written, cinematography and overall just a great action film with one of the best storylines and elements. Great film, a masterpiece, and personally Kubrick's best.
40 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) - Jul 07, 2010
Mini-Review: It is not a great adaption and is a bad film alone. The cinematography is alright, they added a lot of unique and good scenes in the film but ended it badly. The characters are just ripped off from the original practically and don't develop a lot. The story is the same and they totally got rid of the boat ride scene which gave me a large impression in the original. I HATE THE OOMPA LOOMPAS in this film they are just midgets. Not really good at all I was entertained at the most part, I guess.
55 Public Enemies (2009) - Jul 06, 2010
Mini-Review: A well filmed movie. The acting is alright and the cinematography is quite odd and many close ups. The story is good but it drags on forever, the film does have a tendency to tell us details we don't need to know. It goes all over the place too. Under developed and boring characters but the ending is quite good but not like the last 3 minutes, that was bad. Anyway all in all it is alright nothing spectacular.
90 District 9 (2009) - Jul 06, 2010
Mini-Review: Very great concept and idea! The acting is superb and the characters develop very well and even the connection between the main character and the aliens. The music is really good. The main villain is an under developed stereotypical killing military leader and his death is quite typical at the end. The film flows quite well and the cinematography is very beautiful and well done. I admire this film for being one of the best sci-fi films and using a very good plot. Very great film!
