Mini-Review: A good look at how society views women.
Mini-Review: Pure Solondz.
Mini-Review: Another deep look at the alternative by the great Todd Solondz. "Happiness" shows us that, perhaps, what we perceive as the aforementioned "alternative" is more common than we believe...or wish to believe.
Mini-Review: A strong cast of heroes makes this movie a blast. Even though I hadn't seen the Thor or Captain America movie adaptations, I was able to sympathize them and grow to know them as characters, which is sometimes lost on movies with a large cast.
Mini-Review: "Palindromes" has a very unconventional storytelling style which may demand multiple viewings, but it's definitely a movie you won't soon forget (typical of Solondz films).
Check out "Welcome to the Dollhouse" first for a twist that will turn your head around.
Mini-Review: An influential comedy by Mel Brooks with an absolutely wacky ending.
Mini-Review: The classic "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" film. Frederich March is so much fun to watch.
Mini-Review: Barrymore gives a great performance as Jekyll and Hyde, relying not on lots of makeup for Hyde but, rather, on simple distortion of his own face.
Mini-Review: A charming story with beautiful animation.
Mini-Review: Beautiful animation. Absolutely beautiful. I just wish it had a stronger story to go along with it.
