"a little better than the second, but nowhere near the first. it needs to lose at least 20 minutes and i know exactly what dead-end plotline i'd cut. apart from one or two moments, shane black's style barely comes through. it does get away with a lot of this by having easily the best action scenes in the trilogy, though."
