Mini-Review: Another Ring style "horror" thirller. Really nothing original, Halle is mediocre as the lead and she doesn't drag the viewer in. Really it is just one of those "me too" films to follow the ring, much like The Grudge, White Noise etc.
Mini-Review: With a promising opening the film then quickly rollercoasters into a predictable modern monster flick (which is not good btw). With a plot that made me cringe and acting and characters that were flat for the most part this films only saving grace are the Creatures which look fairly cool, but thats it. Steer clear, not even good entertainment.
Mini-Review: Wow, it looks and feels like the Ring... I could rant about how much I dislike these modern studio horror picks but I won't, I'll let the score speak for itself.
Mini-Review: As seems to be the case with remakes these days this film doesn't stand up to the original. With sterotypical characters for the genre it had the potential of being far worse than it is, Tom Welling delivered a good performance which I was hoping for. However the actress playing his girlfriend (lovely lady from Lost, whose name I forget, Apologies) seemed too skinny, which is a huge shame because she is a very pretty girl.
All in all the fog is an enjoyable flick, it however strays far from th
Mini-Review: Ok, Doom is an average sci-fi action flick, that tries too hard to be Alien and Resident Evil among other things. Which is Silly considering the Game is neither (unless you count Doom3 which was Resident Evil on mars...very original...). The characters are a little above average for this Genre which is good because the action scenes and the monsters are fairly rubbish, with the worst prosthetics acting I have seen in a long time. Over all you could do worse than watch Doom, but you could also do
Mini-Review: ...Yes..well, While Uwe Boll's films are not nearly as bad as they are made out to be, this is the one exception...Nothing to reccommend it except for the music videos in the special features section of the DVD. However, if you need to see how not to make a horror film or any film for that matter Alone In The Dark is a good teacher. Sorry Uwe.
Mini-Review: Huge shark eating people, not nearly as good as the original, but it is enjoyable enough watching the hapless and moronic characters being gobbled alive. >:)
Mini-Review: Again with the remakes...But this is an OK flick, if you have not seen the original then you will enjoy it more, and lets face it the original was not that good. Actors are good to watch, but suffers from that Made In Hollywood feel.
Mini-Review: Apparently this is a comedy...very little humour, tries to hard, boring for the most part...really I had high hopes when I rented this flick, now I wish I had never wasted that six bucks. Horrible.
Mini-Review: While slammed by fans of the video game who expected a masterpiece, which when anyone with common sense looks at the game knows this would never happen, it is by far miles ahead of the average Zombie film, sure it has terrible sound at times, the continuity does not exist, the acting is terrible, it's cheesy and corny. But really from something that was never intended to be more than a zombie film it is not that bad, Uwe just suffers from alot of haters, he will only ever get a good review if h
