30 Gothika (2003) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: I like Dark Castle movies, even if they are pretty damn cheesy at times, but This film was just awful. It was good looking ocasionally, but had no substance behind it. Just a series of creepy-for-the-sake-of-creepy shots leading to a horrible ending.
90 Batman Begins (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Great flick. Full of talented people. Nolan is a very talented guy. Had more story than the average comic flick, which was much appreciated.
15 The Ring Two (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Useless sequel to an average remake of a japanese horror film. The story was complete garbage. The film that bridged the gap between the 2 ring films would have made a far better, more creative film.
70 The Others (2001) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Movie with nice moments. The ending wasn't as surprising as it was interesting. Ultimately though, the film never goes past mediocrity and is easily forgetable.
80 Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Fun stoner comedy with good performances by the 2 leads. It's has a few misses at times, but is definitely a good movie to watch when your baked....baking, when you're baking. Lasagna.
75 American Wedding (2003) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: A sometimes awkward film that has good moments, and the usual stuff from sean william scott. It's a fun movie that has it's disgusting side, but it's all done in a fun, energetic way.
60 Mars Attacks! (1996) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: I really did not find this film funny, or for that matter, interesting at all. I appreciate what Burton tried to do, but the film ends up as seeming like another B-Movie instead of rising above them to throwback/parody level.
95 Brokeback Mountain (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Beautiful movie to look at. Cinematography is gorgeous. Story is on par with the visuals. This could very well be a story about any social taboo. Solid performances, a top of the line director, and one of the best love stories to be told in the past decade.
80 In Good Company (2004) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Very well made movie that creates it's own path, not catering to other cliche's and standard storylines.
85 Bowfinger (1999) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Great comedy that no one saw. Eddie Murphy is brilliant in his dual role, and Steve Martin is perfect as the desperate filmmaker. In the final scenes as the cast watches their film, you can tell what it meant to them.
