Mini-Review: As several have said before me, the visuals are pretty darn good. Story, however? Nah. Seriously; some of the lines made me want to stab myself in the ears. Then again, I'm a firm believer that books, video games, and comics should not be translated to film or anything aside from what they are.

Mini-Review: The story is cute, I guess. Extremely unrealistic and terribly immoral. I don't care what kind of confusion you may be going through, marrying someone you're not actually in love with and then leaving them very shortly afterward for someone you spotted at your wedding is effed up. Then again, I'm biased--I tend to prefer lesbian anime/comics over live action.

Mini-Review: The discourse is key in this movie; repetition is used well to make the duration of the discourse exceed that of the story. All film-makers, live-action or animated, can learn something from this film regardless of whether they like it.

Mini-Review: I love this movie. But then again, I'm extremely biased since I'm an animator and I love air pirates. The story isn't great, the 2D and 3D are not seamlessly integrated, but this movie receives more recognition that it gets, even if just for the animation and character design.

Mini-Review: The animation is pretty. The story is unoriginal. And the friend who got me to watch this didn't tell me about the hentai scenes, so I was kind of unhappy about that. It's worth a watch if you want to see well-animated sex scenes (and good animation overall).
