Mini-Review: Still as excellent and technically impressive as it was upon release, every minute is enjoyable and the great cast doesn't hurt either. One of my favourite mocap/animations.
Mini-Review: In most ways it's a better film than Warrior King but the action sequences, which are what really count, just aren't quite as impressive or hard hitting.
Mini-Review: Not quite as good as the sequel but for mindless sex and violence, you can't go wrong.
Mini-Review: I never thought that I'd get to use the phrase "pile of cunt" but Michael Bay and Transformers 3 are indeed A PILE OF CUNT. Shia LaBitch and Michael Bay have once again raped my childhood with the third installment of "Humans & Explosions: The Movie, Pt.3 (Ft. cameos by The Transformers).
Mini-Review: Half terrible, half amazing. For the most part, "Way of the Dragon" is shoddily directed, shot, acted and paced with terrible dialogue...but who cares? We're here to see Bruce Lee fighting Chuck Norris and it's awesome.
Mini-Review: It isn't "Mighty Boosh: The Movie" like people were expecting and it's all the better for it. Visually stunning and equal parts dark and heart warming, "Bunny and the Bull" is one of the most entertaining low budget indy films of recent years.
Mini-Review: It suffers from the usual cliches, hammy acting and comparisons to other films of the same genre and goes off the rails by the half way point. That being said, it does have an undeniably retro feel and the first half is suspenseful and creepy.
Mini-Review: Pay attention, Bay, this is how you make a Transformers movie.
Mini-Review: It does try far too hard to replicate the Grindhouse era (and not to much avail) but "Planet Terror" has an amazing cast, great action set-pieces and fantastic gore FX. I think Rodriguez needs to watch a few more Grindhouse films before trying to recapture the spirit once again.
Mini-Review: No atmosphere, no tension, no humour, no soundtrack, no tonal consistency, no enjoyable characters, no fun, goddamn motherfucking CGI, and worst of all, no respect for it's source material. Everything the brilliant 85 film had, the 2011 remake has not. The only things saving it from being one of the worst remakes of the year are David Tennants very, very mildy amusing role and the tolerable 3D.
