Mini-Review: To most people, The Godfather is the best movie of all-time and that's completely understandable. But, to me, The Shawshank Redemption is the best film of all-time. Probably the only movie that is a 100 and flawless in every sense. Ultimately the best tale of friendship that has ever been depicted in cinema. If Freeman's closing dialogue doesn't bring a tear to your eye, there's no hope for you.
Mini-Review: While I find Tarantino to be boring and repetitive with the films he makes, Pulp Fiction is certainly his masterpiece and is one of the best films of all-time. If you're going to go with any Tarantino flick, this would be the one.
Mini-Review: British humor is not for everyone, but Shaun of the Dead spoofs all those boring zombie movies perfectly. Not as good as Pegg & Frost's follow up act in Hot Fuzz, but Shaun of the Dead will get some great laughs out of you.
Mini-Review: Everyone who spent time home alone when they were young can appreciate this film for what it is; a good time.
Mini-Review: Nearly 50 years after it's release, Psycho is still able to keep the viewer on the edge of their seat while and provides an uneasy, creepy feeling better than any modern day equivalent.
Mini-Review: Barbershop is one of those movies that is hard not to like. The movie is uplifting, holds plenty of laughs and provides the viewer with the experience of being at an actual barber's.
Mini-Review: While I feel Fight Club is vastly overrated by most people, it's still a good, entertaining film with excellent acting.
Mini-Review: Wild stunts, crazy pranks, plenty of disgusting antics and lots of laughs. If you enjoyed the television show, there's no reason why you wouldn't love the movie.
Mini-Review: The Mummy Returns fails to achieve anything the first film did. The first film was humorous, suspenseful and exciting and maintains a fairly interesting plot. The Mummy Returns does none of those.
Mini-Review: The Godfather is nearly a flawless film in all aspects and is arguably the best movie ever created.
