"Sean Penn plays one mean S.O.B. A fun watch, not a lot in the way of a rewatch. Definitely a cheap thrill, but there's nothing wrong with that."
|83 T7||Incendies (2010) - Apr 23, 2013
"I'm so glad I'm not a Marwan"
|68 T1||Dogtooth (2010) - Apr 23, 2013
"I thought I liked dark comedies, but this is too dark for me. It's extremely perverse. I guess I just don't find watching incest to be particularly funny. I take that back..When Joe Dirt did it, it was funny. I prob just don't get this art house stuff. But who cares. Whose gonna remember this film 20 years from now?"
|70 T1||The Place Beyond the Pines (2013) - Apr 07, 2013
"It was decent, but I would never wanna watch it again. I also didn't get much from it."
|88 T9||Wild Strawberries (1957) - Mar 09, 2013
"Bergman explores the themes of death, life, and forgiveness in Wild Strawberries. Using one man's life as the film's backdrop, Bergman makes a number of convincing statements about the pitfalls of a life lived without forgiveness or compassion. For Bergman when one is hurt it may take time to forgive, but whatever one does one must never become callous towards life/love. The consequence of such callousness can cause one to be 'dead' long before they have died."
|82 T7||Page Eight (2011) - Mar 04, 2013
"Great acting, great script."
