Recent Rankings
85 Music from Another Room (1998) - Nov 14, 2007
Mini-Review: Enchantingly sweet love-story about two people who were destined to be together, despite station and class and circumstance. It's a romantic race against the clock to bridge the gap that separates them.
100 I Think I Do (1997) - Nov 14, 2007
Mini-Review: Patterned after old-fashioned screwball comedy-romances, this one has a modern twist: two gay friends who shared mutal unrequited love, meet up at a straight friend's wedding after 5 years of "radio silence." With their friends and odd family members thrown into the mix, this comedy serves up romance and great-writing without resorting to low-brow sexual escapades. Very sweet and funny.
80 Saved! (2004) - Nov 01, 2007
Mini-Review: A favorite.
80 Kiki's Delivery Service (1989) - Nov 01, 2007
Mini-Review: Delightful, original, leisurely, and sweet.
44 Eragon (2006) - Oct 29, 2007
Mini-Review: Very uneven. Had potential. Felt like half of two movies that didn't connect without losing information. The baby dragon was worth seeing (for all of 5 minutes). Actors were nicely chosen... but the script/plot just wasn't there for them.
60 Wizards (1977) - Oct 29, 2007
Mini-Review: Dark and atmospheric. Entertaining. Once.
66 Chicken Little (2005) - Oct 29, 2007
Mini-Review: Sweet, very funny and sincere. Lacked a little something.
44 Rock-A-Doodle (1991) - Oct 29, 2007
Mini-Review: Visually fun but a little thin and boring.
70 101 Dalmatians (1996) - Oct 29, 2007
Mini-Review: A lot of fun. Well-written and cast. Very entertaining.
70 Dumbo (1941) - Oct 29, 2007
Mini-Review: Classic. Funny, sweet, very touching and excellent voice cast. A little thin and short.
