Mini-Review: The clichee concept of American Pie reaches a whole new level. Whereas here you have at least a minimum of quality and maybe a tiny bit of depth. The lame jokes and overly used sexual references are still there and quite annoying. If you like films which are artfully done with real concept and depth you should turn of that show and watch something else. hell, even the Simpsons have more intellect and real funny moments.
Mini-Review: Just like the first movie it lacks real depth in storyline, characters and just about everything. The jokes are often really low and lame and you'll laugh about it only once, if you even do that. Otherwise it's not worth watching and a perfect example for films which lower the intellectual quality of the American movie industry. I've hardly ever seen a film which was more useless. Well maybe porn is, i wouldn't know about that one.
Mini-Review: Well if you are a fan of no depth, no unique and interesting story, no realistic and deep characters, no nothing, you'll like this film. It might be funny watching it for the first time for the whole american clichee but once you've gotten over the bad jokes boobs and nonsense you'll rather find something else to watch.
Mini-Review: Well, it was okay. The actors were surprisingly good and did seem sincere and natural. Although like a lot of American films the story line was predictably it was really funny to watch and had some depth about themes like family and friendship and some character development you do not often find that way in USA movies. Do not expect something really new and unique but watch it anyway and smile.
Mini-Review: There is really one hell of depth missing. You do not feel close to the characters, you are not drawn into the movie and it's really predictable. Although the books might have charmed very many people the film becomes a thing which is more for children and maybe teenagers who do not care about tiny details and the art of really good film making and adaptation.
Mini-Review: I was quite disappointed with this film. The first one was nicely made but the second one lacked depth. It sticks to the story but there is nothing that makes it REALLY amazing and awesome. It's just there, okay to watch but also okay not to watch it. For fans it's nice but for people who don't really know Harry Potter it's not on the recommendation list.
Mini-Review: I liked the way Harry made his first experiences with magic but the actors are so young therefore their acting still lacks. It's nice for a fan but you should not expect too much. It sticks close to the book and has it's charm though of course as an adult you won't be that easily caught by it's charm.
Mini-Review: Well, it was a quite nice movie. I like how they are showing the trio slowly growing up. There are some pretty funny things, Hermione punching Malfoy, demetors and so on. Although the werewolf was really ridicculous looking and just strange, the scene in the forest gave me the creeps and Sirius made me smile. It does lack some real depth but it's still something you should watch once.
Mini-Review: This movie was quite unique as a lot of french films are. I loved the scenes from the city, the way Amelie looks at the world. It's a funny film but still manages to show you scenes from everyday life that turn into tiny miracles. It makes you feel warm and happy inside, optimistic and amused. Though not perfect it's a very nice movie for openminded and a bit romantic people. It will make you smile for sure.
Mini-Review: This is really a piece of art. Whoever thinks the second part in a trilogy is not worth watching is now proved wrong. This is not just a bridge between part 1 and 3 but something which is awesome on it's own. Even for people who are not fans of action and fighting (like myself) this is so beautifully and splendid done. You see a movie that's not only about fighting but about war, politics, love, friendship, loyalties, betrayal and everything life is about. A must-watch!
