Mini-Review: DDL in the single greatest acting performance of all time. Also one of the most emotionally disturbing films of my life. Bravo. BRAVO!!!!!!!
Mini-Review: The rape scene is one of the most disturbing scenes ever. Shock value and Bellucci can't save this art-house turd.
Mini-Review: Raging Bull was terrible. Reprehensible even. DeNiro has done a couple great films and a lot of terrible ones. This was one of the terrible ones. Raging Bull was to me like if Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio Lamborghini and Ferdinand Porsche all got together to design a vehicle and came up with the Gremlin. What a waste.
Mini-Review: Pleasantly raw. Evil in all the right places.
Trying to decipher the dialect was a bit of a challenge, but it didn't make the film any less enjoyable. Dead Man's Shoes is one of the most gripping, original revenge films of all time.
Mini-Review: Coen, schmoen. The fact that Nicholas Cage's movie career (notice I didn't call it an acting career) ever went beyond Raising Arizona makes hating the film mandatory for me. It's not a complete piece of garbage, but it's at the bottom of the can and the can hasn't been cleaned out since a Quayle was in the Whitehouse.
