Mini-Review: Starts off decent but halfway through the plot gets so silly it is never scary again.
Mini-Review: Anthony Hopkins is amazing, the movie is pretty good.
Mini-Review: Not as scary as I have heard from others, but I still enjoyed it.
Mini-Review: Some of the scenes were absolutely gut busting hilarious. Kristen Wiig is one of my favorite comedians and she did not disappooint!
Mini-Review: This is one of those movies where I feel very out of synch with the rest of society, who apparently did not care for it nearly as much as I did. Besides the Elton John soundtrack seeming very out of place, I quite enjoyed this animation. The story was not a deep remake of Romeo and Juliet by any means, it was barely touched upon. But the animations and the creativity of the writers were superb.
Mini-Review: I went into this movie with great expectations since I loved the first movie. The first half of the movie was quite entertaining with the Tron elements from the first movie popping up and looking impressive. The light cycle scenes were amazing! But the second half of the movie was quite drab. The story just didnt grip me and the dialogue was uninspiring. Motives were confusing and unbelievable. A big thumbs up to the character Castor who was the most interesting character by far!
Mini-Review: An average superhero/comic book movie with awesome special effects, cool characters (the gatekeeper!), and drivel (Darcy, the token swollen-lipped ditzbrain). Didnt enjoy the movie as much as I would have liked, but it had its moments. Thor trying to fit into modern society was quite funny.
