Mini-Review: I'm sure part of my poor score is due to seeing it 23 years after it was made - but come on. The writing and acting were awful, and the "theme" was so incredibly heavy-handed. Maybe the special effects used to cover over this, I don't know, but I know I just wasted 3 hours of my life and many, many other movies from this time and older don't make me feel that way. It was bad, and then the last 80 minutes made it a real pisser.
