46 Trapped by the Mormons (2005) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: A terrible movie that has one redeeming feature -- Judith Baicich as Tilly.
90 Shrek 2 (2004) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: A smart and funny continuation of the Shrek franchise. Eddie Murphy as Donkey is still hilarious and Antonio Banderas as Puss In Boots is a great addition to the cast. The final forty minutes charges along with great panache and adventure. I love Jennifer Saunders, but she could have been given more to do with the Fairy Godmother role . . . or at least better songs to sing.
72 Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (2004) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Topher is sweet and Josh is hunky . . . I think I would ultimately pick Topher, too.
63 Porky's II: The Next Day (1983) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Actually a better movie than the original, but does anyone really watch a Porky's movie for the plot?
72 Withnail & I (1987) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: For all it's charm, it's a grotty movie that doesn't feel at all substantial.
83 Norma Rae (1979) - Aug 13, 2007
87 Jurassic Park (1993) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Exciting and fun. Jeff Goldblum helps a lot, but it's Spielberg's pacing and tension that deliver the jolts. The dinosaurs were both cool and cheesy (and sometimes a little too shimmery), but mostly they were believable enough to make the movie work.
67 Ice Age (2002) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: Interestingly sparse animation and some funny moments don't really overcome the basic story.
30 Starsky & Hutch (2004) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: So stupid and awkward as to be unwatchable. The only flicker of interest I had was when Snoop comes onscreen.
38 Bringing Down the House (2003) - Aug 13, 2007
Mini-Review: I don't remember much about watching this movie except a pervasive sense of embarassment during the whole experience.
