Mini-Review: A terrible movie that has one redeeming feature -- Judith Baicich as Tilly.
Mini-Review: A smart and funny continuation of the Shrek franchise. Eddie Murphy as Donkey is still hilarious and Antonio Banderas as Puss In Boots is a great addition to the cast. The final forty minutes charges along with great panache and adventure. I love Jennifer Saunders, but she could have been given more to do with the Fairy Godmother role . . . or at least better songs to sing.
Mini-Review: Topher is sweet and Josh is hunky . . . I think I would ultimately pick Topher, too.
Mini-Review: Actually a better movie than the original, but does anyone really watch a Porky's movie for the plot?
Mini-Review: For all it's charm, it's a grotty movie that doesn't feel at all substantial.
Mini-Review: Exciting and fun. Jeff Goldblum helps a lot, but it's Spielberg's pacing and tension that deliver the jolts. The dinosaurs were both cool and cheesy (and sometimes a little too shimmery), but mostly they were believable enough to make the movie work.
Mini-Review: Interestingly sparse animation and some funny moments don't really overcome the basic story.
Mini-Review: So stupid and awkward as to be unwatchable. The only flicker of interest I had was when Snoop comes onscreen.
Mini-Review: I don't remember much about watching this movie except a pervasive sense of embarassment during the whole experience.
