60 Fright Night (2011) - Feb 05, 2012
89 The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) - Jan 22, 2012
Mini-Review: Maybe it's because I didn't watch original movie and didn't read the book I dunno but I loved it. Mara and Craig are awesome together. I prefer to see Mara to be nominated. And opening credits.. just wow! Well done Mr. Fincher, you did it again!
81 The Artist (2011) - Jan 21, 2012
86 The Skin I Live In (2011) - Jan 03, 2012
Mini-Review: A mind-blowing revenge story. Probably one of the bests I've watched since Oldboy. Also maybe the one who has the sickest twist. It's unpleasant, but in a strange way you can't keep yourself admiring it. I loved acting, photography and Almodóvar's capability of story-telling as always, but I wouldn't love the movie as a whole if it's not this much sick, creepy and unpredictable.
76 The Help (2011) - Dec 27, 2011
Mini-Review: I don't know what was so special about this movie. However sitting there for 2,5 hours and watch it without even blinking eye must mean a lot. Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Jessica Chastain are truly amazing. Not an excellent script, but somehow it caught me. On the downside, the movies with black cast need to start producing more creative stories than civil right movements and stupid Tyler Perry movies.
78 Midnight in Paris (2011) - Dec 24, 2011
70 Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) - Dec 19, 2011
Mini-Review: Take Sherlock and trains out of story and put Jack Sparrow and ships instead, you don't even realize the difference. Has same dynamics with Pirates. More an action flick this time rather than comedy. Guy Ritchie definitely gives us a terrific action scenes though. Bromance between RDJ and Law is still great, however I can't help to think RDJ lost some of his charm he had in the first movie. Last point: Jared Harris is amazing as new villian.
