Criticker Newbie - 6 Films Ranked
Member Since: Jun 19, 2009

Bio: In the past 100 years, films have proven to be the public\'s favorite art form, right next to music and books, which have been around for thousands. Films can take us to places we\'ve never been before and seem to create a sort of \"reality\" not too far removed from our own.
Recent Rankings
93 Frankenstein (1994) - Jun 21, 2009
Mini-Review: For some reason, people and critics were not impressed. I find that hard to believe...but whatever! If you've ever read the book, you'll see that not only is the movie faithful...it's better! Everything about this movie is class...photography, acting, sets ands make-up. A top-notch horror film that is gruesome enough to please gore-hounds as well.
94 The Other (1972) - Jun 21, 2009
Mini-Review: This movie disguises itself as a "boy's summer in 1930s" kind of flick, which then begins to turn into an increasing nightmare of murder, secrets and true horror. There's NOTHING supernatural going-on in this movie, by the way. Beautifully filmed, superbly acted, close adaptation of Tom Tryon Best-Selling Novel. A must-see!
98 The Innocents (1961) - Jun 21, 2009
Mini-Review: This was probably one of the most dignified and beautifully-made horror films ever when it first came out. It holds up well, thanks to the period setting. There's some pretty kinky things going-on in this movie, as well. You can go either (or both) ways with this movie. It's all in the governess' sexually frusrated mind...or...there really are ghosts possessing the children and messing with the governess' head...either way, it's creepy as hell!
84 Cube (1997) - Jun 19, 2009
Mini-Review: Horror movies very rarely give me nightmares. This one had a claustaphobic feeling to it that apparantly hit me unawares. I had a nightmare that night after watching this, that was definately inspired by this decently- made thriller.
83 Batman Begins (2005) - Jun 19, 2009
Mini-Review: Very well-made, but way-too long of a build-up to "Batman's" appearance and the bizarre villian was barely in it to make any sort of impression. Still, a well-acted and directed movie...pretentious and ponderous script.
90 Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) - Jun 19, 2009
Mini-Review: I really liked this movie. One of the best biographical films ever...and one of the wittiest!
