Mini-Review: Yes, giant robots were technically fighting, but I have never witnessed less coherent action coreography in my life. I couldn't understand who was where or what they were doing. Holy shit, how do you screw up such a simple forumla?
Mini-Review: Not one of his best. The mythology and mastery of craftsmanship make this well worth a viewing. His attempt at emotional consistency while sacrificing logical consistency is interesting and works, but does not reach the heights of Naussica, Spirited Away, or Mononoke.
Mini-Review: This is a foul, amoral send up of the Muppets. The fact that it exists is reason enough to see it.
Mini-Review: Interesting construction. Features the late, great Tigers Stadium. However, it is ultimately forgettable.
Mini-Review: This is a movie that defines what good movies are. It remains satisfying to watch on every level. Between those two elements this is as perfect a film as exists.
